    Just got one today and your video gets me out the door quicker because I am in a hurry going to a wedding and need this to keep me busy in the off time.. Luckily I am not part of the wedding so I will be having to use it in the park hunting for jewelry and such. Prospecting for gold will have to wait another week or more but it will be my main purpose for buying it. Thank you for the video great job man!

    hi John. I ended up watching this excellent review because my son Stephen has just bought one. He lives in Wales U.K. and it is known for very pure Welsh Gold which is used to make Royal wedding rings. I suggested he watches your review. By coincidence, you published this video on my birthday! Good honest review as always. 👍

      Yeah these high freq gold detectors don't get much coverage. I was surprised NoktaMakro was marketing it as a jewelry detector too, but it definitely does the job on those rings. Earrings will be no trouble for it. Really enjoy it and looking forward to using it more. Thanks for watching!

  • @treasurehuntingnewyork5979
    @treasurehuntingnewyork5979 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Hey hunter as far as the lack of definitive target Id on the tiny nugget it was def a nice zip in the tone in most prospecting situations you would want to dig anything anyways unless in heavy micro trash as most prospecting areas would be “off the beaten path” anyways I’m sure the machine will def find even the small gold at an acceptable depth

    • @thehuntergt
      @thehuntergt  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah for sure...small targets won't give ID and if prospecting I'd 100% dig that signal. Probably should have mentioned that in the video, but talking, filming, and thinking sometimes don't always work lol.

    Hey, thank you for the review and also replying in the comments I'm learning a lot. I'm split between this one or a Vanquish 440 for gold nugget hunting and everything else since it says it goes up to 45 khz or so that should be enough for nugget hunting I think

    • @thehuntergt
      @thehuntergt  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      My pleasure. Thanks for watching. The Vanquish is a decent "all rounder" for the beginner to intermediate range. Beach - relics - coins. I personally would not use it for nugget hunting. In comparison to the Gold Kruzer...there is no comparison. It is a dedicated gold machine and does it very good. Better than the Gold Monster 1000 in my opinion.

    I would like to see how well it will do with burying your gold nuggets in the soil at different depths. I was very impressed with the nail board test John. Keep on making these videos. They are very helpful to me especially when you hit briefly on the iSat because I am having trouble understanding what the iSat function really works

    • @thehuntergt
      @thehuntergt  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I will probably bury a nugget in the next video with the small coil. My dirt is extremely hot so it will be a decent test for it. It is a high freq machine though....so depth is not the game. Extremely small sizes are. Appreciate you watching and glad that I can be of help. 😊

      If running boost or fast, disc 24 is fine. You can run gain up to 85 on both as well. Above that you will hear internal circuit noise. Not much to it really...it is a dig it all type machine. You will have to use Micro mode if you want different tones for audio discrimination.

      It is good for silver - I just would not purchase it for that purpose alone. I would get something with a lower kHz or a multi-freq if silver was my main detecting goal. In bad dirt you are looking at 5-6 inches depth...in medium to mild dirt closer to 7-8-9 inches. Air tests are best case scenario.

    Great video, very informative, so here's the deal, I went out and bought this exact machine with the idea of going after the smaller chains, earning backs etc that my Excalibur & sometimes even my Nox misses, I hunt highly mineralized beaches in the Dominican Republic & figured that a gold machine would do well but I guess that I was mistaken, as soon as the coil touches salt-water it reads “overload " I've tried all of the modes, the discrimination and to be honest, I'm at a loss. Any helpful insight would appreciated?

    • @thehuntergt
      @thehuntergt  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Not much can be done. It is running 61khz so getting tons of feedback from the salt. Stick to the towel line or dry stuff is about the only advice. In just about every other scenario I can think of it will do the job better than the Excal or Nox...just not in salt.

    Great video.. want to get my 16yr old daughter a machine, your thoughts how would this compare to the Minelab Gold monster 1000? I have the Gold monster but again for my 16yr old. Mainly hunting for gold... Thanks Dave...

    • @thehuntergt
      @thehuntergt  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is a fair bit more complicated than the GM1000. A teen might get frustrated, or perhaps take right to it, depending on tech skill level. The Gold Finder 2000 is a similar model but more automatic like the GM1000. I have reviewed all 3 here on the channel...tough decision for sure.

      Yes for sure. It is a fantastic gold prospecting machine. I also have a review of the new NoktaMakro Gold Finder 2000 which is my latest video. Also have a review of the Minelab Gold Monster 1000. All 3 of them are great and recommended. I am a dealer for both companies if you want to order and are in the US.
