    This question can be confusing but stick to the rule of thumb! If you found this helpful drop a comment!

      What about individuals who have already graduated college?

    • @theposhpa
      @theposhpa  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Cancaaaa69 the same rule applies. You will want to get your prerequisites done first if you haven’t, then time out when you think you will have enough application components done to be ready to apply

    Great video, I was wondering if someone can help me with a question I have. I have my bachelors degree and almost all my prerequisites. I'm only missing several classes. I would like to take them at my local community College, I have seen in more than 1 PA program that they only accept classes/prerequisites from 4 yesr universities. Is this a common thing? Also, what are your guys opinions on retaking classes? For example, my worst science grade is AP1 with a C. Should I retake it? Thanks in advance and any help is appreciated.

    So you should have patient hours, prerequisites completed before filling out caspa. But you don’t have to wait for bachelors degree?

    • @theposhpa
      @theposhpa  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, some programs allow you to apply before your degree is confirmed!

    I have 3 years full time working patient care experience. However, I need to take most of the pre requisites! And my A&P 1&2 will be 5 Years next Year.
    Should I work as a nanny part time and make more money and be able to complete all the classes? Or should I keep working as a pct , make less money and probably no able to take as Many classes as I would like to be able to apply next year?
    What would you advise? 😣

    If I want to start PA school in Fall 2024, do I apply for the 2023-2024 cycle or the 2024-2025 cycle?

    • @theposhpa
      @theposhpa  ปีที่แล้ว

      They vary from
      Program to program, so I would check specifically

    If, for example, I want to start my program in 2025, I need to apply in 2024? And should I apply early in the cycle or does it not matter when I submit my application as long as it’s within the year? Does PA school operate on rolling admissions?

    • @theposhpa
      @theposhpa  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes apply 2024, and. Yes earlier is better. Some are rolling some are not.
