If there was a dbz game where you re flying around shooting beams and projectiles, tp-ing behind enemies, goin SS etc. I guarantee every cent in my bank account that the world will lose its minds. We need that asap.
The real problem with VR games is the controls ditch the motion controls for a gamepad with wristbands to track your hands and your golden the reason Yu-Gi-Oh will save Virtual Reality is because you will not have to swing your arms around like a mad man while fighting an enemy in VR . it's the ideal game for VR. what you where saying about it becoming an mmorpg was a good idea also it would be great if we could change the view an be like the camera not locked to the character during battle meaning we could change the point of view to first person to third person in game or any view we really want it from. also a lot of the reason VR is failing is because it is putting what is the most immersive versus what works first like for a mmorpg its way better from a third person view with a gamepad versus from a first person view with motion controls for combat. they make VR headsets and they over blow them with motion controls and no camera control then wonder why they're not as popular as they could be I mean really! the whole idea of VR is freedom of choice in the world you are immersed in they forgot that somewhere along the lines but I think they're going to figure it out this time
First. That is good to hear. In fact, I hope Hollywood and BBC Studios could work together to adapt and film live-action Yu-Gi-Oh series using the Virtual Reality Wave and Lenses and every duel disk to duel many duelists at each country. #YuGiOhLiveAction
I've seen a lot of cool looking live-action stuff that people have made for yu-gi-oh. Even on one of our other channels we planned on making some more. I would love to see an official live-action thing with actual Studio money though
I'm not sure about all the technical problems... But as a fan of VR and Yugioh, having read all of the original mangas, VR duels would be the sickest thing ever. Actually, AR would be even better, but I think they would face the same problems as VR, but have a result more closely linked to the duels in the series. I would imagine having to create 3D models for all of the cards that need to be made would be an issue. Probably the biggest one... althoooooough, if we could somehow get away with crowdfunding the project, it might work. Like, not for money, but make a collaborative effort of letting people make the models and stuff. I could imagine people being in on that. On the other hand, big companies just throwing a lof of money at the problem would work as well :3
It basically changes nothing. The titles will still have to bring an enjoyable experience to the table. Any well made title will help, and much more so if attached to a top tier IP. Be it Yu Gi Oh, DBZ, or even WoW or Final Fantasy. Personally I'd like to see some Point and Click IPs brought to VR, like Monkey Island or Sam & Max. I'd also be into more movie franchises based VR games, like Indiana Jones, National Treasure, or maybe Mad Max.
iirc pretty sure they straight up said this wasnt a game(not the 1st time theyve done this stuff) yes wed be down for a vr game yes we were annoyed when they teased us on this then just said NOPE NOT HAPPENING
Whenever I was watching the translation version of the interview it wasn't that they said it wasn't going to be happening. They said that it was going to be more of an experiment. They wanted to release a version of this game to see how many people would take an interest in it before launching a full version. However I could be wrong about all this since it was a translated version.
@@RedDevilVR believe me id be down as hell for a vr version id happily buy a vr headset for the thing even but i think i remember it being like this was a project showcase. i hope what i read was wrong cuz it has tons of potential
@@caellanmurphy4751 me to definitely hope that this isn't the case but Konami has a bad habit of making terrible decisions for their fan base LOL. I definitely believe methane pull some kind of stunt like this but hopefully it is something that they're putting real thought into
Yu-Gi-Oh doesn't mean anything to me so I can't judge what impact it might have on VR. Too many people have bad initial experiences with VR because of headset comfort, eye strain, or VR sickness. Others seem to think today's VR hasn't progressed much since the Google Cardboard days. There are a lot of opinionated headwinds that need to be overcome and I don't think any single game or app will work to greatly expand the reach of VR.

WTF are you talking about? Months on end without any good games on store? Are you living under a rock? March has been full of releases, just today Medieval Dynasty and Tropico... give up on boring MMO and go play major games
You're distorting the point I made in the video. I did not say there were no good games releasing in fact I said the exact opposite. What I did say in the video is we do not get regular AAA titles that are made like traditional games. And the example you gave is also not that common. Medieval Dynasty is a good-looking medieval Survival game, but it's the exception not the rule with VR games
@@RedDevilVR that exception will always be the rule in VR. Small niche with other priorities. Priority for AAA is looking really good in pictures or tv - that's tons of polygons, textures and shaders and animations instead of physics, often at 30fps. That's no good for VR. easier with indies or older AAA...
@@VRnamek that also all depends on the VR headset that you're using and whether you plan on running it through PC or not. To be honest there's plenty of VR titles that look amazing on the PC that also run on the quest 3 or Quest 2 at lower resolution. Who's to say that the games that come out that are AAA titles won't just act like this where they create the game it looks amazing on all consoles but just a lower resolution on stand-alone. The truth is we need more AAA titles to keep people interested in VR that are not VR enthusiast.
It's all subjective. For instance, I would rather have a root canal performed through my nasal passage, than to play either of the games you just mentioned. The point being made is that an IP with such a huge fan base could spawn incentive to developers to consider VR a viable platform for making money. If they don't see potential for profits, they're just not coming over.
I would love a yugioh vr game. Even an ar game, that lets me play buddies in my hometown, on tabletop, 1000 miles away. That would be awesome.
Bro no way...this would be sick
