No idea how difficult it is to get these if you qualify, or if you already know this but the whole reason these exist in this format is for blind or otherwise disabled people. Apparently the library of congress has copies & I think it’s free.

Additionally, the unabridged audiobooks of the NJO series are no longer for sale, so in a sense this is a preservation of someone’s work, rather than a theft.
Star Wars: The New Jedi Order was always an emotionally grueling and psychologically devastating series of books. Reading about Anakins' and Tahiris' budding romance, and their attraction towards each other, only to be tragically cut short like Romeo and Juliet, Pyramus and Thisbe, Troilus and Cressida, etc. was woefully sad. Almost unbearably so. But, in a a cosmic sense, it might be better that Anakin died as young as he did, so that he couldn't grow up, be contaminated by the horrors and agonies of the world they inhabited and risk even falling to the dark side himself, as Jacen did, Jaina BRIEFLY did, etc.--not to mention sucked into the whirlpool of Freudian, Oedipal and Electral agony in their family.
As strange as it may be for fantasy literature, the deaths of Anakin and Chewy seriously shocked and saddened me the first time I read these. Possibly the only thing I liked about the new movies was that Chewy was alive...of course then they killed Han.
Exactly...it seems they just bastardized the whole Jedi children thing by making Kylo and naming him Ben. I was surprised that Rey didn't turn out to be Kylo's twin.

I absolutely love the Star wars stories they're just the best. But God dammit these Jedi are so naive I know their children but s*** you can't fight a war only doing good
the word jedi comes from an old japanese word sengoku jidai which was a feuding states period of japan before japan was one. the jedi are based on sohei which were warrior monks of that period but lucas played with the jidai word and turned it into jedi when he was thinking of what he was gonna call the jedi........ sohei were basically samurai but were way more skilled like how you get jedi's who are or are not involved with the rank of being associated with the council. the way the jedi counsel serve the republic is based on how the sohei and warrior monks trained samurai for the shogun in certain period of japan (however not all periods) ..when a jedi has a padwan it's like an untrained samurai boy being taught by his retainer.
As a sight disabled person, I can now enjoy these books in their truest forms outside of the written form. Thank you.

You should look up braille and audio reading download from the library of Congress. That’s the service I used, and all of these books are on there.
