Even the prequels weren't as bad as the garbage Disney is shoveling (into theaters). I think Andor is good; the Mandalorian isn't bad. Episodes 7 and 8 convinced me to never pay to see another Star Wars movie ever again.
All of these novels are the real cannon after rotj. Start with timothy zahns books then move over to the massive amount of content the new jedi order has to offer. Way better than anything disney has done.

I used to have most of these on paperback over the years. The various stories in various series were always enjoyable. Some were better than others, but the nitpicking critics dismissing all these escapist adventures (there are worse hobbies..)
Just finished this book. Very first book I read in this series was Traitor, years ago, and so have been going back and reading the first half of the series recently. Epic book, absolutely hair raising moments and absolutely heart pumping right to the end. My only wish was that Lucas hadn't objected to Anakin being the main hero of the story. (See the interview at the end of Unifying Force for this information) The writers did their best to make him significant after this book, but feels like an unnecessary waste of a great character.
It would be good if you could credit the person we're listening to for twenty hours, especially since I can't find the name anywhere for who narrated this unabridged version.

This audiobook opening is different to the physical copy I have 😅 the book I own starts with Han having a shoot out in a hospital
