Mara Jade is such a great character. It’s a shame we never got to see her in live action. Disney had a winning formula with the EU. They could have made billions by adapting all these amazing stories.

I have to take my hat off for ya. I love the NJO series, read them all when I was a teenager. For years I have wished for Unabridged audiobooks (why they didn’t do them officially back when and only went for abridged is beyond me). Keep up the good work

I really like that this audiobook is using the correct pronunciation of "Coruscant". Other audiobooks, specifically the ones released prior to 1999, use a very weird pronunciation that bothers the hell out of me.

About two years ago I finished this series and the “Legacy” series, and while they aren’t perfect, they are damn good. This is a ready made storyline that Disney could have used for a sequel trilogy, introducing new characters and elements while retaining and Respecting what came before. Kathleen Kennedy had 3 SJW retreads of Star Wars made instead of actually progressing the story

Yeah vector primes my favorite book from star wars, its very different and unique, lol the actor who played chewie actually read it and liked it, when it first came out lol some radio station was saying, chewbaccas dead, so people thought they meant the actor and he found that kinda funny, but he read the book and im pretty sure enjoyed it for the most part.
This should of been the new sequel trilogy a completely new enemy, no more Sith as that time has past.. the balance has been restored to the force by the Sith being gone. It would be being the story forward into a new area but Disney don’t have the guys take it in a new direction… they made a absolutely mind bending terrible sequel trilogy with absolutely no plan.
I'd rather pay you than audible to listen to a series like this. Do you plan on doing the whole series? That's an effort I can get behind with financial support haha. I lobe this series and the movies from these would have been so much better than the ones recently released lol. Thank you again!

@@minicle426 i did all the good cannon storys and when i was a kid i read the Junior jedi Academy it had anakin solo and ive wanted to ketch up i wanted to see why anakin dies and why jason falls to the dark side after killing mara jade..it just seems like im missing all these good points in these characters storys but so far it fills like im going to have to listen to this old man barely put any effort in to reading a whole lot that i have no idea or characters i don't know because i would have to go back further in novels to understand what the heck is going on lol

He reads like that because this version was made for the blind, the common version, the one that is officialy sold, has "acting" and sound effects, but is shorter. So you can either listen to the entire novel like this, or you can listen the one with the effects but with missing paragraphs and chapters

I can explain actually- this is why : The federal government has been slowly making more and more laws and rules to regulate corporations in order to make them “more diverse and inclusive “ and they have basically changed all corporations in a fundamental way over the last 10 years as it’s really gone too far lately with the extreme amount of pressure to completely become a whole corporation in every way - in order to do that most of the people that worked at Lucasfilm and Disney that were there to make good products were replaced by people hired based on ideological reasons and with an ideological focus .. the total focus on ideology and identity politics has consumed these corporations based on the rules and laws implemented by the federal govt that has culminated in what we have now every where you look . Of course the people currently in charge would NEVER make this into a movie because it’s not written to force ideology into it !!

This was originally the expanded universe books and they are excellent. They became rebranded as legends after Disney abolished them all as non cannon

I love New Jedi Order! Despite how much I love the Sequels, they could use something like this in Star Wars Canon.
