Great, great dog work. I worked a dog for 7 years (K9) and the hardest thing can be trusting the dog's nose Vs. what you or someone else thinks the quarry (whatever it may be) did. Outstanding work.
Thanks! That is very true and learning Jaeger’s body language and trusting him, even when he gets a little ‘exploratory’ and checks other lines even though he knows exactly where the right track is has been the hardest part. His nose blows me away.

A lot of people don’t realize dashunds are great hunting and tracking dogs.i would get another dashund in a heartbeat
