My first car was the 2000 166 2.4
I loved it, but the facelift model is much better in my opinion. The 166 holds a special place in my heart
That is not down to the car it's down to previous owners running the car into the ground poor maintenance. That goes for any make of car on this planet .if I was you I'd get the car sorted out these 166 are becoming very rare and such a beautiful car .
I get it. I've had the pre face lift 166 before, and I know how bad they can get because of poor maintenance. I understand that these cars are bullet proof if taken care of. This car will be restored, only bit by bit, not all at once. Over time, it will be better than new!

I had one of those as well, but the face lift was always my favorite.
@@BaraE34YT I agree - facelift was close to the 156 style and a big improvement over the weird 'chinese' eyes of the first model. But each to their own as some owners loe the earlier style and that is fair enough
Moj slučaj : sin vozi Alfu 147 jtd 8v. Platili smo je 1200 evra, a uložili još oko 2000 u periodu od oko godinu i po. Jedno vreme sam stavljao na papir, međutim prestao sam jer sam počeo da se nerviram previše. Kad god bi je odvezli kod majstora počeo je da niže stavke za zamenu. I ok, zameni šta treba, ali eto uskoro novog kvara. Tako jedno 10tak, 15 puta. Postali smo dobri drugari sa majstorom :) Kad je budemo prodavali naravno da nikad te pare nećemo vratiti. Eto ako ti je za utehu.
Tvoja Alfa 166 : Po mom mišljenju nije strašno. Opruga nije neka investicija. Limarijski radovi takođe. To oko motora je rešivo uz pravog majstora i dobre delove. E već zadnji ram jeste problem. Kod 166 je zadnje vešanje slaba tačka. Sve zavisi od tebe - da li želiš da se baviš time ili da odustaneš.
Možeš da je prodaš ali biće to na jedvite jade, posle ko zna koliko vremena i za neku bednu cifru jer znaš da ovde ljudi beže od Alfi ako nije 1.9 jtd. Još Alfa koja traži ulaganja. A kad je prodaš pitanje je kakav auto imaš u ponudi a da takođe ne traži ulaganje. I naravno to neće biti Alfa :) Ja lično bih popravljao jedno po jedno.
Nadam se da nisam bio dosadan.
Za sad je plan svakako raditi ju po malo, kako budem mogao. A sad kako ce dalje stvari ic vidit cemo. Prva stvar mi je opruga, dalje cemo vidit. Za zadnji trap znam da mu je slaba tocka, i na prosloj 166 mi je isto bio los, isto kao i lak. A za sad mi je najbitnije da auto vozi kako treba kolko tolko i da je motor zdrav. Hvala puno na podršci
