So it’s normal for it to shake the rear of the car when hitting a bump? I wouldn’t say so. I might be wrong, but judging by the fact that the inside of the tire wears much more than the outside, says it’s not normal

Yes, for a Petrol engine, the M54 sounds very good. But for a diesel, the M57 is amazing. If you don’t agree, That’s okay, but there’s no need to say that diesels Are trash, when a lot of them make more power than the M54

@@BaraE34YT a diesel have more torgue and the range is unbelieveable but this smoke is 🤮 The rear bumper is always black go to stats and look You can see that the M54B25 or B30 has better acceleration. On the way I didn't want to hurt your feelings. I had 2x e39 525 and 530d myself Now I have an E39 530i and I enjoy driving more and fewer problems.

My E92 330D has never had any sign of black on the rear bumper and I've never seen it smoking.@@CENKMATIK

True , m57 is straight 6 diesel engine. However every bmw straight 6 petrol engine sounds better then m57

I respect your opinion, but I love the sound of the M57 along side Many other diesels. Of course i Like Petrol engines as Well, but the M57 holds a special place in my heart

Have you ever seen or hear a tractor? I got my M57 since 3 months. I am 1000% petrol head. I just wanted a good dayli with low consum, first decided to buy 320D. I choose the 330D M57 cause its unbreakable und needed only 1 liter more. This engine is crazy! I think the best mixture of power, for this crazy power low fuel consum, and a sound while you drive you never could expect a diesel could do this. Yes the 4-Zylinders sounds like traktors, but you cant compare this in anyway with this engine! I think you god really no plan, or you get everytime overtaken from a 320d in your petrol car😉

You’re absolutely right about the E91, but as for the E70, I can’t say for sure. Could just be down to the exhaust

The E70 is 100% a M57. To be precise the 231HP version. Go look the original video.

Sorry to correct you, but there was never a 231HP version. The lowest was 235HP

Weird because I got a E91 LCI M57 😉 The first two years had the M57. For the 2010 model year, they got the N57

I also have e91 335d LCI with m57...

Well okay, sure they could have made some changes to the interior in the redesign, but I quite Like the 166 interior. It’s much more spacious and comfortable than the 156 and the rear leg room is vastly superior to the 156. Yeah the emblems Are awful hahaha

It is a nice sounding engine, but i personally prefer the M57
