Sorry to revive a dead thread but Do you have an instructional for removing the back plastic housing as well for a 2013 veloster with projector lights? In other words from start to finish. Thanks

hey Alek told you I would subscribe.....so this video definitely helped me with not being as afraid of my headlights.....so I want to black out my housings kind of like the headlight you resealed in another video.... as far as customization of that what would you recommend? Like paint or wrap..... if paint what sort of prep work would you recommend. I want to get rid of the ugly reflector in the corner as well...but will paint stick to the plastic piece. Just want to get all of my supplies squared away before embarking on this.

Why wouldn't you show the step before where you have to unseal everything but good job for the rest of it

Hello! Great video! I have a request, hope you might be able to help me! My VT comes with halogen bulbs inside the projector, I upgraded to HID but the light output is really low. I want to make a retrofit to it, change/upgrade the projector itself. Could you please create a how-to-video on how to dissemble the projector housing itself and doing the retrofit? Thank you!!

Great video! Very informative. I'm working on a 13 Veloster base. Are there screws holding in the halo trim piece on the non turbo headlights as well?

The trim piece isn't held in by any screws, just tabs. Prying with a flat head from the rear will help pop it out.

CAP Design thanks for the reply. I appreciate it. I was stressing over that part. Everything is so easy to break. I'll take your word for it. Thanks again. I look forward to purchasing a kit from you all. Gotta save up for it though. But for now, it's blackout time! Lol

I have an idea brother but I want to know if it's something I could do. That chrome trim piece you removed, I want to make a mold out of it with silicone and then pour resin, stick some led lights into it and route it from the line that goes from the other led lights so that part glows. You think that will work being you have the experience? This is for a 2016 Hyundai Veloster Turbo.
