Wow! Giulietta Simionato's performance as Eboli in Verdi's Don Carlos is absolutely stunning! Her powerful mezzo-soprano voice and emotional depth truly bring the character to life. I was captivated from the very first note until the last. "O don fatale" gave me chills! The way she conveys Eboli's complex emotions is just incredible. This is opera at its finest, and Simionato's talent is undeniable. Bravo! 👏👏👏
Only a minor loss of pitch on the last note, couldn't quite get on top of it, but what a performance overall, her voice is dark yet pretty and her registers are so well integrated. Same league as Obratsova, Dimitrova, Verrett, Stigiani and Callas, it is hard to find her like in this area.
@@genlyai5055 You confuse screaming with chiaroscuro and chest integration. Verrett was definitely in this league with perfect chest integration and powerful vocals. Name me one technical aspect of their singing you find lacking, such as improper technique or characterization. GO!
@@pureffm You confuse screaming with singing, and there is nothing more to say. Verrett was ordinary (compared to Bumbry, for example, she was a bad amateur); Obratzsova was a crime against nature. You have no clue what actual singing is and clearly have never looked up the word 'chiaroscuro.' much less learnt its multiple meanings. Hideous wide-open raw chest voice is not 'integrated.' Nothing about O's singing involved anything but a total abortion of technique; exactly the opposite would be correct. You're too stupid to waste more time on. You are schooled and BLOCKED with delight!

You must be joking. Obratzsova screamed as if she were being murdered. Verrett was never in this league. Callas 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
