It’s nice to see some fantasy baseball content especially since I have my own league. Baseball’s such a good sport and it feels like stuff like football and basketball get all the attention these days. Also glad to see Zach gelof on the list because i just drafted him so we’ll see 🧢⚾️
Totally. Tampa Bay has had new pitchers develop into studs every year. I didn’t even mention Ryan Pepiot who they got from the Dodgers for Glasnow. He could be another sleeper
I’m in one money league and our draft is this upcoming Wednesday. I suggest joining soon because the Dodgers and Padres open the season on the 20th which is coming up quick
Thank you! As much as I love Bobby, I would keep Kirby and Skubal. Kirby should contend for a Cy Young this year and Skubal pitches in the worst division in the league. Would definitely go with those two
I’ve been told since catchers and closers are very vulnerable to injuries, they should be left for the latter part of the draft, especially in points league. What’s your opinion on that? Thanks for your video💪💪💪. Definitely am going to target the players you mentioned very late in my points league draft which consists of 28 rounds
My strategy going into Fantasy Drafts is to avoid injury-prone players in the early rounds. That being said, I usually draft fairly risky in the later rounds, whether it’s taking top prospects, injury-prone players or players who have struggled in recent years. As far as Catchers go, if you don’t want to take one in a high round, O’Hoppe and Francisco Alvarez are solid players that I would consider taking. If you really want an elite closer, Hader and Clase have basically zero history of injuries and are safe bets in my eyes. Thank you for the kind words and I hope I could help you out!
@@BlakeRobins0n I started the supplemental draft by drafting Royce Lewis, hopefully he can stay healthy. I know his history, but he has monumental upside being so young. In the supplemental I also took Freddy Peralta and Cody Bellinger. I have Corbin Carroll, Kyle Tucker, Luis Castillo, and Zac gallen. At the start of the draft, which is the 8th round, I’m targeting Gleybor torres , what do you think?
@@SupermanChiChi I think that’s a fair spot for Gleyber, however if there’s someone else you really want, I don’t think it would be bad to pass on him. There’s some young second basemen like Gelof and Edouard Julien that I like to have good 2024 seasons that you could probably get in a few later rounds
@@BlakeRobins0n the reason I like gleybor in this spot is that he had those good stats on a Yankees team that didn’t have 2many bright spots last year, and the addition of Soto to its lineup, and also next year being Gleybor’s contract year, probably intensifies his value. Your point is well taken about waiting for a promising star like gelof. If I don’t take Gleybor , I’m thinking of ramping up my SP’s by adding Joe Ryan. What’s your thought? Thanks
@@SupermanChiChi I like that thought process a lot. I like Joe Ryan a lot, think he's pretty underrated. Don't think you can go wrong taking Torres or Ryan there honestly
Nice video, some really nice insight! But Bryant and Manoah have shown nothing to suggest they will be gems this year, so for me, it is a bit of reach. You can look for statistics to support your claim and always find some that will fit, but just by watching baseball you can see that Manoah is an absolute mess. Bryant on the other hand can't stay healthy and has been a disappointment in what was looking like a HOF career. From what we saw his first two years, my measure, he honestly hasn't been relevant since 2016. For last round targets sure but I think there are other players out there that make more sense.
In the video, I mentioned that I would take both of them specifically in the later rounds of the draft, and I totally stand by that. Thank you for the kind words!
Man idk how this channel only has 2.5 k subs
Means a lot to me, thank you!
Bad production quality, horrible narraration, shallow analysis
@@mattsupachat5962 Why watch and bother to comment then? Seems like you're the only one here who thinks that. Go live your miserable life buddy

Totally agree! I love Fantasy Baseball because there’s action to follow every single day. Gelof is going to have a huge season
Gelof, O’Hoppe and Bradley sounds good to me thank you kindly.
Of course!
Love this video. Especially with the first two guys being players i drafted on all my teams 😅
Thank you, glad you drafted them!
I kinda agree on Taj Bradley..he had a good run for a while last season..he's got the stuff to be successful..I'll take him if he's available late

When do you suggest we join money leagues now, or wait till season starts barring injures and free agent signings?

Solid vid man!
Hey pts league which 2 would you keep between wheeler kirby skubal and bobby miller ? Thanks!

Dude, nice!
I agree with a lot of the players on this, the biggest factor for a lot of them us health (like Kris Bryant & James Paxton). Should be a fun season!
Totally agree, that’s why I suggest taking those injury-prone players in the later rounds only
Good video also turn volume down a bit on the mic feel like you’re screamin at us lol
Yeah sorry I recorded it and then realized after I was a bit too close to my mic on this one haha
Yo this is great but if you cut some of the background info which would let you slow down you pace, it’d be much more enjoyable.
Appreciate the feedback, thank you for watching

really good info
Thank you for watching, glad I could help!
Some guys I would say: Erick Fedde, Ranger Suarez, Garrett Crochet, Josh Jung, Alex Verdugo
Fedde is a great choice, almost chose him for this video
Nice job but you speak a bit fast. The video is good but slowing it down would really help.
Thanks for the tip
I dunno @@BlakeRobins0n I watched it at 1.5x speed and it was fine

But if he talked at a normal speed, it would be a 45 minute video!
@@notsosilentmajority1 Glad you’re enjoying the content! Thank you!
Video idea that would be very helpful: "Best Players by ADP for each site" or "Comparing ESPN ADPS to other sites - best and worst values".
Very interesting. Will note that down for this time next year
Most of them are in my breakout list too 😂😂
Good minds think alike!
Tf did I show meat have one of the best songs
What
Hoppe hit a homerun off of Bradley in this video lol
Anthony Rizzo I think is way too slept on in drafts
Manoah is washed. He's got the Nuke Laloosh "million dollar arm, five dollar head" problem. Big Maple yes. Bryant maybe. Thanks for the vid.
Thank you for watching!
Langford looks exciting, grab him everyone before he’s gone
Totally agree

@@BlakeRobins0n Yeah, absolutely for later rounds, but I would still look for players with more upside or maybe even stash a call up.
Manoah was complete garbage last year. I don't think he's worth the risk at all
I think he’s 100% worth the risk in the later rounds of the draft. There’s no other potential ace that might be available then
Bradley already hurt smh 😭
Rays pitching staff is cursed
late pick Rendon!!!! do it now
Jp Crawford
My only concern with JP is that he had a career-best season last year and his projections are a bit inflated for my liking
Manoah is done.
Kris Bryant ? This video is trash
I never said to take Kris Bryant first round. I said get him late in the draft
