S/O Bryan Woo. His delivery is ultra smooth. Effortless 96+ on the cheese
I’m a big fan of his. Hopefully the Mariners give him a spot in their rotation
I think Ryan Pepiot would have been worth mentioning, perhaps over Bradley. His stuff with the Dodgers last year was filthy. Haven’t seen a rookie come up throwing gas like that in a while.
I love Pepiot a lot as a Dodgers fan, but he’s only thrown over 100 innings in a season once in his professional career. He needs to stay healthy
Can you put a list in text
Patrick Bailey 🔥
I know this is a homer Pick but honestly I think Kerry Carpenter can make a huge jump and his swing is a great left hand swing with pop but even if he doesn’t do that he still tortures Guardian’s pitchers in his career so far but can see him in the future having 35 100 season
Totally agree, but I thought he already had an awesome season in 2023. Predicting him to breakout in 2024 would essentially be me thinking he'll be a top 20 player in baseball, and I just don't see that happening
I think Colton Cowser will have a breakout season. I know he’s a rookie still but his short time in the bigs was really bad. However, I think he’ll figure it out
Assuming he's still on the Orioles and not traded for Dylan Cease, I think he will. Only left him off this list because he was a pretty high prospect and has barely played in MLB so far. His bat is really solid and I think it will translate in the big leagues soon
I assume you think Santos will close. Otherwise, why would he be useful in fantasy, save for the rare holds league?
Now that he got traded to the Mariners, he’ll be in a setup role. Still worth having him in a fantasy league with holds in my opinion
Pfaddt the next Ian Anderson. Heard it here first
As in a bad way, I assume? Anderson just needs to stay healthy to be a quality pitcher honestly. His FIP was almost identical in 2021 in 2022 while the ERA was vastly different
@BlakeRobins0n yeah. I don't think he will live up to the postseason success similar to Anderson. The league will catchup. Very rarely does a rookie shine in a short postseason stint and stay super successful
@@hoodiewaffles Definitely possible
I really like canzone as Mariner fan here. He just needs MLB play time to adjust to MLB level…he’ll
Get it going
100%. Really hope he gets consistent playing time
Agree. A lot of M's fans still want another outfield bat, which I understand, but I wouldn't hate giving Dom more at bats and seeing what he can do. There's always still time to trade for a bat at the deadline if he isn't able to prove himself.
Welcome to Seattle Santos⚾️🔥🔥🔥🔥
I like pfaadt but another dback who could have a massive breakout season is alek Thomas, he just got snubbed of a golden glove and had a great playoff run I feel like he will be a solid 15-25 HR hitter and be in the golden glove race every year
I think Thomas is good, but don't think he'll play everyday, especially with the team just signing Joc Pederson
Glad we have got santos now, but not excited for jk beak out
As an angels fan I'd love to see Neto and O'Hoppe break out
For sure. The 2024 Angels' season should be all about giving the young guys playing time and watching them grow
freddy fermin for the royals *you might’ve put him on here i did finish the video yet*
I think Fermin is pretty underrated, but with Salvador Perez and MJ Melendez still there, I don't see him getting enough playing time to have a big year
The Nationals are gonna be fun this year!
What is really cool is my brothers friend is name cole Phillips he got traded to the Seattle Mariners for jarred Kelenic
That's fire
I think Casey Schmitt could also break out Im this coming season. We saw flashes from him but he could definitely improve next year
Good pick too. I like Schmitt a lot. Hope he gets more playing time for the Giants this season
I’m choosing Luis Garcia (Nationals) as my top sleeper pick going into 2024.
Actually, looking back, I’d say it’s between either him or Jesus Sanchez of the Marlins.
My BO player is OF Chas McCormick-Houston
I think Chas already broke out in 2023. He just didn’t get as many at bats for whatever reason. Dusty didn’t seem to like him that much
I have confidence in Justin Steele for the Cubs this season
I do too, but think he already broke out in 2023 so I didn't include him on my list
Abrams and Kim for sure
Ernie Clement and Emmett Sheehan are both going to be studs
Pepiot and DeLuca will stand out as stars on the rays
And Gavin Stone will also break out
Not sure if Clement, Deluca and Stone will get enough playing time to breakout this upcoming season
I will never call them the "Guardians." gtfo
Santos is a Mariner now lol
Bello doesn't throw a curveball he throws a slider
Yoshida will bounce back after a lacklustre end to his season after a massive start.
Hope he does. Red Sox will really need a good season out of him if they want to have any chance of making the playoffs
And santos is now a mariner
I'm the biggest Kelenic truther of all time. I'm gonna make a hype video coming very soon. I made one last year too.
👀 1:27
Brendan Donovan will receive MVP votes this season
Now that is a bold take!
I’d say ha Seong broke out in 2022 not 23
Debatable for sure. Stole 26 more bases, put up a higher OPS and won his first gold glove in 2023
Where's Bo Naylor??
Not on my list
Brice Turang?
Turang actually did cross my mind but I'm not sure if he'll get enough consistent playing time. The Brewers still might be good enough to win the NL Central in 2024 so I don't know how much he'll play
For the sake of Cardinals fans hope the triumvirate of Jordan Walker, Nolan Gorman and Masyn Winn excel.
Vaughn Grissom
I like Grissom but don't see a breakout happening in 2024
wow no mention of Zack Gelof haha shame
I picked him as one of the most underrated players in the league in a previous video on my channel. I only wanted to put 10 players in this video too. Love Gelof's game
Do u still think Santos will breakout with Seattle??
I definitely think so. T-Mobile Park is the most pitcher-friendly stadium in MLB, and he won't get any save opportunities for the Mariners, which should relieve some pressure off of him. I think he has a great 2024 season
@@BlakeRobins0n I agree! What was you’re thoughts on that trade btw? Thought the white Sox got a good haul from him, I like Berroa a lot 💯
@@brennannedeff6322 I like the deal for both sides. Makes sense for the White Sox to trade for a fairly high draft pick and get a good reliever in return for someone like Santos who could end up being elite very soon. Still think they might have sold low on him because I thought he would have a monster season for them. Interested to see if Santos gets the 8th inning or is used in different situations for the Mariners
@@BlakeRobins0n right I agree! But I truly believe he could end up closing some games for them tho💯I’m a Seattle fan and they haven’t really had a true closer since Diaz, unless u wanna say Sewald which personally I wouldn’t😂😂, so they can easily go with the fresher arm atm, so u can easily see brash close out games here n there, same with Munoz then Santos or they just go with the hot hand and whoever is on fire atm will be the guy until they have a “slump” 😂🤷🏼so pretty much what you just said, Santos get used in different situations😂either way if they all stay healthy that bullpen will be crazy good💯
@@brennannedeff6322 I wouldn't be completely shocked if he ends up closing games for them. I really like Munoz, but he does struggle with his command at times. I also wouldn't be shocked if Brash ends up getting save opportunities if Munoz struggles. He pitched in more games than anyone in 2023 and I'm sure he'd be fine in any role. Either way, those 3 guys are fantastic for the back end of the bullpen. Definitely think it will be Top 5 in the league in ERA
3 mariners on this list
The thing is that Canzone is going to have to fight for his playing time or hope for an injury. He's the 4th or 5th OF for SEA at the moment behind Julio, Haniger, Railey, and maybe Marlowe.
Yeah I know. Made the list before the moves for Haniger and Raley but still think Canzone is too good to not get playing time. At the worst, he should platoon against right-handed pitching which should help his stats
Haniger unfortunately is made of glass
@@bartwilliams381 Haniger has had a lot of bad luck injuries. I don't think you can blame poor durability for getting hit in the face or a foul ball to the nuts. He's only half made of glass.
Great work but as a Vinnie P owner he wasn't having a good season 247 only 9 hrs 61 game 27 rbi's. Don't make my mistake stay away. Go after Naylor or Abreu instead.
Thank you! I know he didn’t have a good season, but I’m still very high on him. You talking Bo Naylor or Josh Naylor?
I like both. I feel they are great value picks at their position.
@@BlakeRobins0n
Joey Meneses......that's all im gonna say.
I would be shocked if he has a breakout season. He's almost 32 and posted 0.5 bWAR in a full 2023 season. His peripherals are really bad too. You never know though
Yainer Diaz
I would say Yainer broke out in 2023 already but he’s still very underrated
Davies Schneider
Schneider was a tough one because his 2023 season was insane in a small sample size. If he continues to do that in 2024, I'm not even sure if it would be considered a breakout because he already was awesome in 2023
Bo Naylor will be breaking out.
I like the pick
Hunter Greene
Torkelson
I left him off because he already hit 30 home runs and 30 doubles last season. Him increasing his OPS a bit would be great, but I also think it shouldn’t be surprising if he does it
Nolan Schanuel. Trout looking like their last great breakout player since 13 years ago, but Schanuel could end up quite the 1B for years to come.
I'm so unbelievably tired of seeing Abrams on these lists. Yeah he's an easy pick for them, cuz he already freaking broke out!!!!
I wouldn’t say so honestly. His OPS is barely over .700
Kelenic is a bad pick, lmao. Any Seattle fan who had to suffer through watching him play, he never impressed.
He was bad in Seattle, but Atlanta has turned so many careers around recently
I feel that Kelenic will be a lefty Adam Duvall for them
Holy crap listening to this guy is like waiting for a disclaimer at the end of a commercial and actually trying to understand it 😂
Slow the heck down the season is over a month away & TH-cam is free 🤔
I felt like I was listening to a AI produced broadcast 🤣
You're the only person who complains about how quick I speak. Most people actually prefer it so they don't have to watch 30 minute videos that have 15 minutes worth of content
@@BlakeRobins0n
Slow down bro and let people understand what the heck your even saying. But no im not the only one Im setting here with 5 others and we did have a great laugh 😂 out of it. Not even trying to dog on ya it was a descent list. But why read the script so fast like your late for
a flight. 😂 Have a great weekend just some constructive criticism might want to atleast breath between each player. 😂
@@tonyd9240 I mean with all the laughing emojis it doesn't really seem like constructive criticism. Have a nice day
You are really just looking for something to complain about aren't you? There is nothing wrong with the way he speaks, and I find it so strange when people go out of their way to criticize the most inconsequential aspects of a video. If you can't understand what he's saying I think it may be a comprehension issue
@@tylerbrown565
No i literally couldn't keep up if I wanted too. I have never had to give someone an opinion on speech. But dang that was crazy and didn't even pause a second between players 😂
I was setting with 5 others planning out 41st annual fantasy draft all trying to actually follow. Two actually tried to write down a few things he pointed out. Best they got out of it was enough time to write down 6 names 😂. To each his/her own but that was serious like hearing a disclosure at the end of a prescription add.
Kelenic is a bust
Way too early to say that. He'll be under a lot less pressure to produce in Atlanta
Cruz jr will win roy
I don’t know who that is
@@BlakeRobins0n oniel cruz jr. He didn’t play enough games last year to qualify
@@cdawg3 I don't think that's right. I can't find him on any betting sites for rookie of the year voting. He must have qualified
But how?
@@cdawg3 He qualified for rookie of the year in 2022. He had over 300 at bats that season
