    Great looking van. I particularly like the way the upper cupboards are deeper at the bottom than at the top. This helps to prevent things falling out when you first open them after driving 🙂

    Lovely! I agree Nick, those "portholes" are awesome! Nice widdle motor home.

    Very nice interior finishes and use of space, especially with a usable space for toilet and shower.

    Hey Nick this is a really funky looking motorhome and really cool it's great to see the extra seat belts so there's seating for four but unless I missed it sleeping for two? I bet the owners are delighted to see their new motorhome featured on Motaholic too have a great Saturday my friend 👍

    As cool
    Looking as this one is, i think it is a bit expensive for a van, you get a lovely motorhome for it as well, but good to see a decent wet room in a van.

    Nice quality German built van. Too bad not on a Benz chassis & as always an automatic tranny, cruise, Nav system, & A/C a must. Thanks Nick.🙏🇨🇦👍

    The shelf-like-looking folding flap over the toilet is a kinda curious one. As is whatever is in the black bag in the back.

    • @paulbrooks9022
      @paulbrooks9022 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The flap is to divert the shower water away from the loo. The black bag is probably the tool box that normally lives under the passenger seat but has been displaced by the leisure battery.

    We recently exchanged our 2019 Charming 640 for a 2024 600 Charming. Very disappointed to find how many features we loved on the 2019 are no longer present on the 2024. The mattress is much lower quality, the skylights are all smaller, the rear seat is less comfortable, the toilet compartment feels smaller due to a different screen (which no longer secures so rattles around on the move), no bathroom cabinet anymore, the toilet wobbles around alarmingly and everything feel just that bit lower quality. Yet the vehicle cost £25k more than the 2019 model did. To my mind 2019 was a better Campervan and we regret changing.

      Why did you change to an inferior vehicle ?

    • @landyfan5366
      @landyfan5366 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@sarahann530 When we ordered the 2024 vehicle we hadn’t seen it in the flesh to be able to do a side by side comparison. The 2024 shortcomings weren’t apparent on the website, brochure or order form and only became apparent when we picked up the vehicle and started using it.

    • @sarahann530
      @sarahann530 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @landyfan5366 Damn ,that was a costly mistake . Most sensible people would check them out at a show beforehand. Why were you getting rid of the old one anyway.
      Was it getting dodgy ?

    • @landyfan5366
      @landyfan5366 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@sarahann530 we wanted a 6m (more manoeuvrable in town and on small roads) and needed an auto due to health issues (damaged my left ankle). We had (mistakenly) assumed that Malibu would have maintained its high standards of fixtures & fittings for which they had earned a great reputation. Sadly, like many other manufacturers, it appears that they let their standards drop post Covid but ramped their prices up very high. We did get more for our 2019 trade-in than we had paid for it when new though. So that was almost 5 years of happy, trouble free campervanning with no depreciation.

    It's cute and all, but I hope camper prices in Europe aren't as bad as camper prices here in the states. Sheepish. I looked at a tow behind pop-up camper that had AC and the 3 burner stove. It was 3 years old and $2500 used. Now that exact same camper they want 3800 for. I told the guy there was a reason it hasn't sold. It's too much. He told me it attracts in customers because it's too cheap and then they sell them something better for about the same price. He's probably lying, but in checking...these are insane.

    I have so much money to spend that I could literally buy two of these without flinching if I wanted to.. I have aajor issue with them though! If you're going to sell it for that price, why not lift it higher like 6 inches higher and raise the ceiling to house a man of 195cm tall? 🤷🏽‍♂️

  • @robertbryant3805
    @robertbryant3805 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    I can't help but comment on these £85,000 I'm sorry they just don't warrant the price tag,it's a van with cupboards so cramped.

    • @DMFAZER
      @DMFAZER ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I agree, the price of vans has gone through the roof. I bought a brand new Autotrail V Line on a 21 plate for £48k. Also part of the same Cathargo group and pretty similar in every respect - i can’t see where the additional £40k is! Ps the point about van conversions is that they are small so you can get to (and stay in) places that larger motorhomes can’t reach. Like Nick says with boats, they are all a compromise and it just depends on what your priorities are.

      Expensive they may be but If you ordered one now you would be lucky to get it before 2025. They have just opened a new factory to cope with demand. People will pay top dollar for top quality materials and construction.
