    I love my Bitflex, just look so cool and are so comfortable with the soft leather lining inside. Thinking they were made in Italy adds a special touch. They definitely are rugged in style, hard to dress up, but are a great match for casual occasions

    That Rhodes looks a lot like the red wing weekender. Although the weekender is stitch down construction. I feel like the weekender is a bit overpriced, but that hasn’t stopped me from adding two pairs to my collection. And over the past year the weekender has been my most worn grab and go chelsea.
    Really wanting to add a astorflex boot to the lineup as well.

    Those Rhodes boots look great, I'm excited to try a pair. My experience with Blundstones though (not bought from HB) is that they're flimsy and low quality.

    Love Chelsea boots, got Trickers Henry x three pairs, Jimmy Choo reverse waxed rough out suede brogues, Crockett and Jones rough out suede Chelsea boots and Ian Harold, better than RM Williams

    Both my last two Blundstones started falling apart within a year of wear. Definitely going to be looking at the other brands.

      Look to Redback. Blundstone stopped making their boots in Australia and went cheap for profits. Redback makes their boots in Australia and every review says they're more comfortable too.

    I've got a wide foot, do any of these run wide? I like that Jackson with lug sole, but site says it runs narrow so if I size up to fit it usually gets too long.

    Question: how do you stop the pull tabs from catching your pants when you climb stairs or sit down

    • @Huckberryco
      @Huckberryco  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Ah. Yes, the Chelsea boot pull-tab. I have a similar issue myself. You can tuck the pull tabs in your pants. That being said, pants will naturally ride up as we climb stairs and sit down. A longer inseam would likely provide the length so that the pant doesn't ride up above the tab and catch.

    Unfortunately you don't make 14s in any of your shoes, which is a shame - I like the designs and they seem reasonably priced. Thank God for Thursday..

      Dave, just FYI, Jim Green does go that high (although they are more work minded). Good boots for the price.

      @@Huckberryco thanks. Note separately i reached out to tricker, they said to never treat the boots. After having these boots a few weeks and the slow break in they require, i think they will require some sort of treatment in the future. I don’t see how they won’t, they scuff super easy.

    Blundstone haven't been made in Australia for years now. Redback Boots are the way to go instead of Blundstone.

    What about the RM Williams? How do they compare?

    • @Huckberryco
      @Huckberryco  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      With a little more heel and pointed toe, they're definitely a bit more style-forward than the rest. But they're awesome and you should check 'em out if they pique your interest. Truth be told, we wanted to get a sample in for this video but didn't get a pair in time. Consider them an unofficial pick!

    can the astorflex bitflex be resoled ?

    • @Huckberryco

    Skip the blundstones. They sold out and canned a bunch of Australian Jobs for overseas labor and quality dropped. Redback, mongrel, and Rossi are still original aussie made.
