Canarm PLEASANTAIRE CP56T 56" industrial ceiling fan in white, still in the original box, shown on a generic 4 speed slide control. As I mentioned in the description of my last video, this is a newer generation with a thinner motor. While I now prefer the earlier versions with cast or thicker stamped motors, any TAT-made Canarm industrial is a childhood fan to me. These later ones just struggle a little more getting up to speed with the large and fairly heavy blades that went basically unchanged as the motors were continually changing. It's not so much a problem with the blades or motor alone in either case, they just needed to be optimized for each other in better ways to achieve better results. I still find these fans to be plenty powerful and they perform well once they get up to speed. This one has really excellent bearings, so it spins down for a very long time. I mentioned in the original video's description that this one reminded me of my elementary school days, watching the same kind of Canarm fans spin down for minutes upon minutes. Really brings back the childhood wonder for me, I absolutely love these fans.

Love it!
This fan takes seven minutes and twenty-nine minutes to spin down and reminds me of Dreambox.
