They just wanted him to leave whether he was filming or not. They had no back up plan as to how to handle a visitor with the trainees there. When the trainees are not there, which is likely not often as they seem to be using the grounds for drills, they likely would not have descended upon AB as they did. They were exceedingly determined to remove him asap. I’ve seen this sort of thing when I’ve attended conferences and they are educating teachers on how to paddle children without being found criminally liable for harming children. These types of groups simply do not want outsiders to know what they really tell recruits about how to handle the public (not how to handle criminals but rather how to handle ANY of us). They just sampled how it’s done using AB as their target.

I worked in the National Care Standards Commission, it was set up to replace the QCC. There was so much expense in the building as it was all new and so much waste and ridiculous spending on equipment, lots of which just sat gathering dust unpackaged - laptops, printers, and also quality catering for internal staff meetings for middle management, you wouldn’t believe it! I was admin so I had to order the catering, book their hotels etc - absolute racket! If they had to drive more than 3 hours for a meeting they booked a hotel as driving back again would take them over their 8 hour day.
They all had new company cars and “expenses” credit cards - middle management fraud as far as I was concerned. I wanted to go to the local press about it at the time - wish I did now.

Police stations around the country are being closed, as are front desks with a yellow telephone outside instead. These instructors don't know the difference between private and public property and cannot conceive the idea of restricted public property, neither can the estate manager (who is responsible for signposting the site). How can any of these people be relied upon to train up new police officers?

Put up by someone entirely unconnected to the police, i suspect. It should read 'enter at your own risk - members of the public will be harassed by nervous bullies immediately on arrival'.

"Welcome" just another word that means nothing, costs nothing, and is worthless.

This looks like a former estate that was turned over to the police. I get the Hogwart’s reference now. Instead of the school for Wizarding it’s the school for policing 👮 🤣. I never seen civil servants have such a fear of a camera 🎥.

    • @ToddDouglasFox

@@davidharwood9552the police do not “inherit” as in someone gifted them. This is because there are laws as pertains. Imagine how that could be extremely determintal. Someone with deep pockets buys or bequeaths property to the police and then what? Owns them? I don’t think so. Everything ultimately is paid for by taxpayers.
