  • In this video, we'll show you what happens when you use a polarizer filter with your camera!
    A circular polarizer is a essential tool for photography, and in this video we'll show you how to use it to get the perfect effect with your photos. With a little practice, you'll be able to capture stunning photos with a polarizer filter!
    This is one of my favorite filters. A circular polarizer works by reducing glare and reflections from surfaces like water, glass, and metal. It is mainly used in landscape photography, but also with cars and portraits. It helps to boost color saturation and contrast, giving your images a more vibrant look.
    It attaches to the front of your camera lens and is used to control the amount of polarized light that enters your camera. I have a big one from Lee so it works with all of my lenses with this adapter. It has some extra slots for other filters as well..
    You can save yourself hours of work when you reduce the reflections with the polarizer instead of trying to fix it with photoshop, and in some cases you wont be able to fix it at all.
    It’s very common in interior photography to have this reflection on the floor when shooting towards the windows, you can work around it with multiple exposure and flash, but the results you get from a polarizer are spectacular.

    nice demonstration! I think the best kinds of filters/lenses are those that give you new capabilities... polarization isn't recorded by a normal camera and cannot be "adjusted in post" so a good filter is pretty cool

      It's Rode VideoMic NTG, but I think it's the sound treatment that is more important. Including export properties for TH-cam. I managed to improve the results even more. I might do a video about it in the future.

    And the same thing applies to skin for portraits, and sauciness of food for food photography. It never comes off my lens!

      I have a 2-1 in vnd plus CPL
      Do you think it’s a bad thing to have it together like that ?

    • @DannyBatista
      @DannyBatista 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@fabianj6008 depends on how you're using it? Do you need it to block stops and stop of light? Is that affecting what you're trying to achieve with your shots? If so, its unecessary and you're just making life more difficult for yourself. Are you shooting video? Then it's a great dual tool to have because if you want stick to the 180 rule AND cut relections then it's a win especially if you're shooting wide open with your lenses.

    do you recommend to apply loctite ?

    • @ShutterTwist

      That certainly depends on what are you planning to use it for. I don't recommend it as a salad dressing.

      @@ShutterTwist thank you for the reply man i never used filter in my life i just want to use the important one will the polarizer filter will be good for most videos and photos ? I shoot landscaped and cars normaly and mostly

    • @ShutterTwist
      @ShutterTwist  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@omranmohammed4811 yes, it is excellent for landscapes and cars (takes away reflections). Tricky to use on a gimbal, but will work great for video too, especially that video is more difficult to the edit comparing to photos in Raw.
      This also acts as an ND, because it darkens the image a little bit (2 stops). There are filters created as ND + Polarizer and they will cut more light.
      The one I am using is on the expensive side and it has to be used with the Lee Filter Holder, but it can be used with all my lenses. You can also get smaller ones that will mount on your lens. This can be used with step up rings too. For example: you have 2 lenses, 77mm diameter and 67mm, you can buy 77mm polarizer and 67to77 step up ring for the other lens.
