    My style? I just like cozy. I don’t want to live in a show home. Coziness and peaceful. That’s my goal I hope to achieve someday. That’s timeless to me. Great video, Liz! ❤️

    “Timelessness” by definition is not a trend. It’s here to stay.😊

    I really like this idea of timelessness. Trendy decor produces waste, for one thing, and it could get expensive to change things around often

    Great video as always! I’m redecorating my living room in shades of dusty rose, magenta and pink. The pinks I chose are pastel and subtle. I just go with colors that make me happy, not with design trends. Nothing I buy is high end, but it looks it, in my humble opinion. I shop sales on sites like Wayfair and Amazon.

    I’m desiring timelessness because I want to purchase only items I love and not feel the need to buy into trends. Since buying a home, I find myself waiting longer between purchases because I willing to spend more on pieces that are versatile and well-made. I won’t purchase expensive trendy items. Subtle luxury on a budget is achievable via thrift and vintage shopping, but takes patience.

      Yes I agree, one reason I don't like getting a designer is because they always wants to throw everything away and start from fresh slate. But integrating existing old and new pieces in a tasteful way is what brings the character that is unique to your space. Taking time to curate is the way to go especially with history of vintage pieces.

    Hi Liz. I've had many styles, and variations throughout life. Depends on my mood. Plus I'm artist, so I like color. However, when I've had the Neutral pallet, it was everything you mentioned, and Im ready to turn back into, in my Relaxed Livingroom (so to speak )
    Earthy Tones just have "it" and forever in comfy style ❤

    Thank you, Liz, I really like this trend towards timelessness. I'd say it's been my basic style without really knowing it! I find that it helps to tweak a few things now and then. One of my biggest "problems" is having inherited furniture and incredible numbers of knickknacks from various family members, and more is coming! It's hard to completely pass along such items even though they don't necessarily fit in with my space. Sometimes I have to be incredibly patient! I suppose the secret lies in how these items are curated into the existing decor. Again, thank you!

    • @BalanceRhythm
      @BalanceRhythm  26 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      My pleasure! It is difficult to part with inherited items but I always tell myself that the object is not the person and I will always remember them even without the object. Still, it’s nice to have some pieces that really speak to you and bring you joy.

    In terms of interior design style, l describe my home as eclectic transitional. It has a bit of Scandi, MCM, Contemporary, Traditional.
    The elements combine together easily because of the colour palette and cohesion.
    My home feels peaceful, comfortable and friendly.
    My home looks colourful, casual and airy even though it is modest.
