I buy the kielbasa and the turkey all the time. They're not perfect, but they are quick and easy to fix--and nice substitutes for non-vegan foods. Very convenient. We haven't had the ice cream yet--but I'm sure that it will be better than the Ben and Jerry's cookie dough vegan ice cream we had last night--which was awful.
I primarily shop at Kroger these days and I picked up almost everything you guys tasted in this episode! I grabbed the cilantro jalepeno cauliflower dip and the hot pepper cheezy slices and both are BOMB. I also really liked the “turkey” slices too! Love these kinds of videos 🖤
A way that my family used to eat kielbasa was to layer, in a big pot: peeled and large cubed potatoes, peeled and large cut carrots, cabbage wedges and then the kielbasa on the very top. We would pour about a cup of water into the pot, put on the lid and simmer on medium until the veggies were done. Super good. And any leftovers were chopped up the next day to make our version of "bubble and squeak." This might work well for your "sausages."
Those cookies are such a staple for me, the BEST thing to have when you're lazy and they deliver on flavor and chocolate chip cookie satisfaction! Glad to hear their ranch dip is good, most of them are so nasty! Taste test videos are my favorite!
I like when the dips are tried on things like carrots or a non reactive spoon. Because metal utensils will make acid based foods have a metallic off taste. That it why when you make dressings you taste them with a piece of lettuce. I love those cookies also. I bake them 15 minutes and sometimes add Maldon salt to the top. Ready to try the ranch now. 😊 glad I watched the review.

I prefer a softer cookie so per Sarah from Sarah’s vegan kitchen I bake them for like 12 minutes. They also have plant based ranch dressing and alfredo that are amazing and every time I go to Kroger I find something else from simple truth plant based. Xo Davita
The Simple Truth Chorizo is so good, much better than the Kielbasa IMO, and you can't beat those Macros.. plus in Chicagoland they're so affordable at less than a Dollar each. I love those ones!

Thank you so much for this video I loved it! I live in a rural mountain town and rely on my Kroger for all groceries. I’ve been slowing trying out the simple truth brand. LOVE the cookies. And I’m excited to have a little sausage, mustard, bread, sauerkraut plate that Nikki suggested.

The Black Forest ham is my jam and how is the sour cream not in here or their Alfredo sauce so many things to have tried 😭😅😆 I love the coconut milk and the chocolate chips and chunks. The cream cheese is a no for me though lol.

I’m surprised you didn’t try their vegan pasta sauces! I tried their vegan Alfredo a couple of years ago and it was okay. The appearance and texture was very much like real white sauce, but could have used some more acidity in order to taste like actual cheese

I tried the cauliflower buffalo dip and when I mixed some in with hummus it was much better. Too spicy by itself.
