I’ve not had nails in years. A student’s mom just got her nail person license and I was her first customer. Now to learn to navigate with them…. Love you and thank you again for the fantastic products!
What a great fun project. I love listening to you talk through your projects. It's like crafting along with a friend. Thank you for sharing your ideas and inspiration. I'm looking forward to your next video. Happy Holidays and a Healthy, Wonderful 2025!
I love your idea for keeping stamps handy with your journal. I make lists for everything, so all of your ideas are percolating through my brain. The idea to use junk mail envelopes is useful-I need to use up some of my stash-so I’m thinking that might be a good place to start. 🤔
What a great project! I will be making one (or more)of these. The silver material with holes I believe is the scrap left from sequins. I have some and use it for many things, stencil for inking or texture paste. Can also use small pieces for background layer/texture.
Thanks for this idea, I love the notion of a slim list journal so much. I definitely share your aethetic tastes, I have those Stamperia library papers and some of the 49 & Market collection in a very similar design. Your idea for the stamp storage bookmark is genius. I wonder if you could use the book spine moulds with a papier mache mixture made from facial tissues or toilet tissue. Im sure I have seen people do something like that and then paint and use rub and buff metallic paste to highlight.
Fantastic idea for the spine molds! Stamperia has a wonderful looking material they use, I’ve just not been able to find it this side of the Atlantic 😊 Thank you for the idea and the kindness. Happy creating!
Hope you have a wonderful and safe trip. Love your list makers book. I'm a list maker. These will also make great gifts. Thanks for sharing. Happy creating.
Hi Cori! Awesome!! 2 days in a row. I made the book for the Junk Journal January project last night. So fun and simple. I will love working on it. Your list book is so neat too. Yesterday, you showed your planner. Wow was that a great organizer. I want to make one just like yours! Have an enjoyable trip to Boisie. Looking forward to seeing your next post.❤
Thank you sweet Pat! I have next week off so I plan to share my thoughts and process on the Life, Simplified journal. I have a few other ideas as well and am looking forward to creating. Bless you and a very happy new year to you!
First, thank YOU from the bottom of my heart!! I'm immensely grateful and appreciate that you shared the goodies sent and the re-opening of ISC (online store)!! It's always a blessing to support your amaZING-cause(LOVE what you sent ALONG too!)!!! Once, I re-open, will ONLY sell deeply etched unmounted rubber stamp sheets (with cling) and then eventually will decide on other items to carry. Most of the items I sent are wicked-vintage, not sure if I could re-stock them. The SILVER FOIL w/ CIRCLES is 'punchinella', 'SEQUIN WASTE', from way back in the days this was 'HUGE' in the mixed media world!! You can use texture paste over the circles, inks, watercolor, add it to masterboards, make embellishments and much more!! It's on my to-do-list to share on my YT channel! BTW, currently working on a twist of the List-Maker's Journal, you've inspired-me!! TY sweet friend!! :) xoxo
Creating that M or W in order to have a flip side to your journal that opens on the left side has been missing from my life. 😂 I've seen people do it with really thick chipboard covered junk journals, but didn't investigate how it happened. And very simply, you just showed us how that works using envelopes!! I am elated.❤
I love this project and I am in the process of making it. It will be so much fun to use when I finish it. I am a person who needs to keep my lists together because right now they are all over the place. I am also excited about making the simple journal.
I enjoy listening to you work through your process as you put a project together. It helps me “see” the make in a totally different way. Sometimes it can be easy to miss bits as a maker moves through the creative process physically but with hearing you verbalise your thoughts I don’t miss any steps. Even when you squirrel 😂. Have a wonderful New Year with your family and may 2025 bring you peace, love and laughter, good health and much happiness. ❤
lol. #TeamSquirrel. I’m happy to hear that the process makes sense, even if I *occasionally* travel an alternate route! Thank you and a very happy and blessed new year to you as well ❤
Another absolutely must do project for this list maker!! Thank you for the clear tutorial on “how to”! Now, before I make one, I need to cross off some things on my list of things to finish!! 😅
Oh, I just love this! My daughter is such a list maker. So I absolutely have to make this. You are always filled with so many wonderful ideas and inspirations. I am so thankful that you take the time to share them with us. You are such a busy, busy person, I’m so surprised you can find the time. Thank you for inspiring me all year! And I am so excited to see the great inspirations you share in 2025. Have a wonderful and safe trip. And most of all, enjoy some of your precious time with your family and friends. Here’s to a fantastic 2025! Hugs ❤️🤗🥂🍾🎉
Thank you and I hope your 2025 is wonderful as well. Double win; you get the fun of making the list journal and your daughter gets the fun of using a decorated list!
Love this Cori!!! I will have to go back and watch again. Watched....had to stop and start several times. LOL life gets in the way. Happy Happy New Year. Hope your trip is super FUN and goes smoothly.
Happy Holidays Miss Cori ... question on the sm Book Bonding Tape book 📖 ... is there a video on it ... looked through your lists but, didn't find it ... thx in advance for your help & thx for sharing your creativity with us ... later my BOO's ... xx 🌹 Sincerely Sincere Miss Judith ❤️ 🙏 ♥️
I absolutely love your projects so I was so happy to see a new one 😊 You always do such a great job providing step by step directions that make it possible for me to follow. Thank you so much 💙
That metallic ribbon is sometimes called "punchinello," and a lot of times it's used for floral ribbons and other crafts. Love your list book, will definitely try it! Thx
Welcome! There are loads of junk journal makers in a variety of styles, speeds and processes. I’m sure you’ll find some that suit your interests. Happy junk journaling to you!
Please do not change your presentation style. It is so refreshing to watch someone whose brain works at the same speed as mine 😀. There are plenty of other TH-camrs who go slow and steady - we need variety. Other commenters have suggested slowing the video down, and I think it is a great idea for viewers who need something slower - I often speed videos up. Lovely project x
Thank you for the feedback. I appreciate more than you know! I realize and accept that many have different color, speed and style preferences. No way I can accommodate everyone. I’m just glad I can share some ideas that enable or encourage or inspire others to create ❤
Second comment. I make lists so to speak but I add narrative. I have been using those 4x4" spiral bound lined tablets you can buy at grocery stores. But it's not working great because I will write the current incident on the next blank page, and then the next page, and then the back of that page. So my list ends up being a compilation of cat illnesses, my medical results, the visit from the plumber, and my plans for my next journal or TH-cam video. Perhaps I am going to have to make 10 of these🙄.
Im new to your channel. Im not trying to be mean but you talk fast and constantly are flipping moving and its hard to screenshot steps and understand when you are demonstrating. Maybe you could slow down alittle for us. I love this note folio. ❤
Just FYI, you can change the speed that the video plays in the Settings, so you can slow it down to what's comfortable for you. I actually watch Cori's vids at double-speed because they're usually pretty long as it is.
You’re not mean at all and I truly appreciate the feedback. It’s tough as I’ve received several comments that I move too fast, or too slow. I’ve been pondering a dual approach to making videos so please don’t give up on me if you enjoy the projects. More info coming early next week. 😊
Changing the playback speed is a simple fix. I love Cori’s pace and conversation. I would be frustrated with slower speed, but that is why there are different settings!
I also love the tempo of Cori's speech. She doesn't talk too much. She is trying to reach everyone's learning styles. I think there are 5 different styles. She is a phenominal teacher and there is never a question as to her thorough directions. Some of the projects she maje are difficult, but she breaks each part of the project down do we all can make them. We are so fortunate to have her!!!❤
Love it. Will make one tmo am. Time for bed now. But what a joy to have two Cori videos to watch tonight.
Thank you and happy creating to you!
I've seen envelopes used in many ways but this is a first---and I love it. Will have to try this............
Envelopes= options. U.S. jj folks do love our option! Thank you and have fun!
You never disappoint! Love this list book x (LOVE the nails) x

It’s a great place to start and hmmmm. That has given me an idea! Thank you!
Enjoy your time away…thank you for another great video!!! You’re spoiling us….and I love it!!! ❤❤
lol. Then it’s a double win because I’m enjoying it as well! Happy weekend to you, Joy ❤
Love your videos Cori! I usually pause and then take screenshot, or just watch that section again… ♥️🇳🇦
I love the screenshots! Thank you for sharing and happy creating 😊

Thank you! Hmmmm, wonder what the technical name for that is? Sequin waste? 🤣 Oh, the visual.

And who doesn’t benefit for a happy list option?! Thank you ❤
You do everything so beautifully thank you
You are too kind. Thank you!
Yes Cori please do show us the finished journal with vintage library. It's gorgeous and i love everything you do.
Thank you, Brenda. I have some plans so that will definitely be shared 😊

@@CoriDahmen You're most welcome! 😉 Enjoy!!
Love this make. I may try it tomorrow IF I get my DD finished! Enjoy your weekend.
Thank you and best wishes for getting your DD done ❤
Hello neighbor! Sammamish resident here. I love this idea for lists. I am a list maker but not a purse taker so this would work for me!
Hello neighbor! I absolutely love your neighborhood and have ridden the East Lake Sammamish Trail more times than I can count. #TeamListMakers ❤

I really hope you have fun with it! I also like my (endless) lists to live together, and this journal works well for that 😊
I love this style. Thanks so much for the instructions.🌸🙂

Truth: making that journal was in my own to-do list and it was fun putting a check mark in the completed box 😊 Thank you and happy creating!
Love this project so much! Thanks for the emery board trick. Enjoy Boise! Have a very happy new year 🎉

Hello Miss Judith! My previous “catching up” video does a quick show of how I made the super simple journal. It starts at 12-13 minutes in 😊
@@CoriDahmen thx, Happy New Year's ... Enjoy 🌹 ... xx 🌹 🌹 🌹

Yikes! I hope you’re doing well and that the hospital stay is a routine-maintenance one. Bless you ❤

Fun project Cori and as always great instructions. TFS🌴💕
Thanks so much! Happy 2025 to you!
I am a list maker, so this is a perfect project for me. I would love to see you finish the one you started with the white envelopes.
Come play with me on Tuesday and we can finish that white envelope list journal together 😊 Thank you!
So easy! Another I need to try and use up those papers we love but have just held on to.
And there are ever so many of those papers, aren’t there?! Thank you, Dawn ❤
Oooooo! List making is right up my street! Thanks Cori! … and always so enjoy your videos! Happy new year!
A good list is just a happy thing. Happy 2025 to you!
Great list book. Happy new year☺
Happy new year to you too and thank you!

Thank you! I’d forgotten the name and the primary purpose. I hope you have fun with the list-maker’s journal ❤
I need that vintage library paper😮
Just found your channel. Am interested to start junk journaling.
Welcome! There are loads of junk journal makers in a variety of styles, speeds and processes. I’m sure you’ll find some that suit your interests. Happy junk journaling to you!
I love your nails Cori ❤
Thank you. They make me smile and I love giving a new comer a client boost 😊

It’s called punchinella forgive the spelling lol
Aloha Cori! What is the name of or do you have a link for the shop that is opening up in 2025? I want to check on the tab with eyelet die! Love it!!
Betsy said she’ll let me know when her shop opens up, and I’ll share that info here 😊
😍❤️
I couldn't find the shop Cori - need the link please
I don’t believe she’s opened it quite yet. Early January, I believe!
