I love that despite the series being so old SMBZ's take on Mecha-sonic is just so iconic, if SEGA ever decided to bring him back they need to do it like how this game does it.
For people wondering what was the thing that Mecha Sonic pushed away, it was Silver Surfer board, as the last bosses were harder versions of the original so this tricks you that is going to be a harder version of Silver Surfer
I'm more keen to believe that Silver Surfer was going to give his board as an award, as the music entailed a "happy" vibe. Mecha Sonic just saw the opportunity to come in and be a jerk, saying that he was better than a board and was planning to stop SG from earning the board, just to be a big nuiscance.
Great playing. Which form did you find tougher? The first or second form? The first form took me about 6 hours to beat, but I had to redo it since I shut the game off. Was hoping it saved the boss checkpoint. This time Ill leave it on, ha ha. Started working on this second form now and it seems hard as hell so far.
What’s the song during the second phase? It definitely isn’t Big Arm. Edit: I thinks it’s a remix of Egg Dragoon Phase 2 from Sonic Forces, but for the life of me I can’t find the specific remix!
@@RetroUpgrade1 In the desert area theres a hidden pit that leads to death in the normal version. If you fall in said pit in beyond mode, you enter a temple where you get the 5th crown
You complete Normal mode, then if you press Shift on the menu it will switch it to beyond mode. Thats the hardest mode. From that point you just have to get a Key in the desert stage. I was unable to avoid those keys, so I unlocked it by accident. I tried to avoid them so I didnt have to do the "bonus" stage with the coin collecting which is harder than the main stage, but it was easier to just get the key. Once you get to the end, after getting the key and completing the coin stage you should get this boss.

The first was harder to memorize. The second I just got super lucky really early on.

Its really the final-final boss.
Complete Normal mode, then go to Beyond Mode. Be careful cuz it's like TOUGH lol
