I had used Henry Evan's Card Rise and do like that moment of having the card rise in the participant's hand; however, I became discouraged in using it for two reasons 1 - The card looses its "bounce"(if you know what I mean) so I don't know that it's that repeatable without a "fresh" gimmick and 2 - the cost to replace the gimmicked card was a little pricey to replace. I've and did attempt to try and make my own gimmicks, but I either made them too tight and the gimmick would break or too loose and the card wouldn't rise.

Like i said before when you showed this the 1st time on this channel. Its looks exactly the same as Fred Robinsons from at least the 70's. You should really not say its Richards when it is'nt, people who dont know any better will think it was first thought up by Richard . Crediting is important.
I agree Andy. Crediting is important. The thing is I learned this from Richard Sanders in his project Uprising. He credited the original sources of the move and added a lot of different handlings. As far as I’m aware he had full permission to teach this on the project. With this in mind I don’t see a problem with pointing people towards that project. For example on my recent visible project I included a triumph that very heavily based on a Steve Bedwell routine. I got full permission from Steve to include the routine on the project so I think I would be in my right to point people towards that project if they wanted to learn the routine. Do you see where I’m coming from?
@@magic-tv I see what you mean and havent seen his dvd but unless he mentioned Fred in his dvd it isnt right. Also a lot of people dont know its Freds as its a hidden gem.

I think it's possible to do the rising card with automatic kings by Henry Evans....Then you have 4 gimmicks instead of one! Am I correct, Craig?
That’s correct. Get automatic Queens automatic kings and you will have four gimmicks

I've never seen the rising folded card one. Where can i get the info on that please, I do a lot folded up cards but not once did it occur to me
It's by Sean McCree from his DVD set by RSVP Magic. Also I teach it on a couple of routines in Netrix

Tenyo's rising card is brilliant; can be done in spectators hands & ive only had to replace it once in over 10 years.
