Rainn Wilson portraying the fear of getting caught, contained excitement/anticipation and an underlying shade of betrayal, ultimately flipping to a condescending and then triumphant disposition, all within the first 3 minutes, and doing it all so clearly yet not over-acted. Brilliant
2:10 That was the moment Michael really got out of mind. Dwight always calls him with his full name as a sign of respect, but the very moment he became a manager, he called him "Mike" as he was adressing a subordinate.
It’s absolutely hilarious that even for a hypothetical scenario, Michael still responds honestly when Kevin asks him “do you have any savings?” Also, I never noticed that he says “I have some good news and I have some bad news: I am being replaced as your leader by Dwight”.
She's more than surely underrated because she is hugely written as a despicable character. I pretty much only felt empathy towards her on the last few episodes of the series. But that's one of the biggest and most constructive things about The Office: relatable characters will have moments where you question their choices and/or morality, and on the other hand, you might surprisingly feel bad for the ones you really hate. I never thought it would be remotely possible for me to give credit to Angela or Nellie, and they still pulled it off; and even Pam has moments where she's over-the-top. Imo it's a really deep and smart commentary on how your trustworthy friend/love might turn into your nemesis at any time, and vice-versa. Crazy that these series give so much more than its unique sense of humor !
Dwight always named Michael with his full name: Michael, but as soon as he was boss, he turned into Mike: -When I'm ready, Mike- a very subtle power play.
Why tf am i keep watching these clips over & over again? I've seen them hundreds of times but can't figure it out why. Im basically addicted to this show. {HELP}
Michael is amazed how far and quick things escalated, he really has no plans where to stop. And then he gets offended because Dwight dissed his car... Lol😂
This episode showed how good Steve Carell is for only being a comedian on TV Show, give him a good script, and he'll be as good as Robin Williams, hell, he became a completely different person in Foxcatcher
Dwight was actually pretty stupid in believing Jan would’ve easily given him Michael’s position. This actually showed how Dwight wasn’t even qualified in not knowing how they hired new people. You can’t just go up and ask for a big position and easily get that position. Dwight really wasn’t manager quality. This was another example on how everyone knew he couldn’t handle the stress. Lol!
@@matthewriley7826 , they were both pretty stupid. Especially Dwight. Eventually marrying Angela. Believing Angela wouldn't cheat on him after a few years married. Those two were pretty stupid. I have always said that Dwight wasn't manager quality and will never be manager quality.
@@juanayon5128 They are not stupid. They do both have issues. Angela doesn't cheat just to cheat. Dwight killed her cat... which did need to be put down. But he did it without consulting her about it or letting her get to a place where she was ready for that to happen. He hurt her, so she hurt him back. That's why she was with Andy. She didn't like Andy. She just wanted to hurt Dwight. And later, Dwight stood her up so he could be Hay King and the senator swooped in. (State senator.) I'm sure that once they married they would both be loyal to each other. When the weirdos find love, that's powerful.
I love the mixed messages in the body language in the first 2 minutes. They are both lying and Hilarious. @1:32 is subtle, but awesome. What great comedy acting!
The entire scene is a work of art, the writing, the moodswings of Carrel and Wilson , GOD the facial expressions ! I could easily sum up the whole show on that scene and give the perfect trailer on a newbie.
Michael: What's your dentist's name? Dwight: Crentist. Michael: Your dentist's name is Crentist? Sounds alot like dentist. Dwight: Maybe that's why he became a dentist.

Yes... smart words... i understand completely
phenomenal acting, you can tell how immersed in their roles they are. this is why there is no better show
he changed his name, he no longer is called that
Yes, he is such a good actor!
When Dwight corrected him at 1:46 I lost it 😂😭
I love that kevin is genuinely concerned about Michael's condo.
He bought the condo to fill it with children
“I have a laundry machine!”
Still makes Dwight do his laundry for a year 😂😂
I love that Dwight is still doing his laundry in a later episode
One of my favorite Michael quotes. Gold
Yes, that's the joke.... everyone who has a laundry machine still needs to do laundry

And the way Dwight says “…yes..” 😭😭

Haha.... Dumbledore
That was good:)
So basically you can double-cross Michael, but don’t you dare disrespect the Sebring.

@@firingallcylinders2949couldnt have said it better
That show was in a class of its own, no one since them has ever come up with anything even close to it. Very smart humor.
Way better than any other sitcom I've watched
I think major part is the way uts filmed, takes pressure from the actors much more convenient and real
2:10 That was the moment Michael really got out of mind. Dwight always calls him with his full name as a sign of respect, but the very moment he became a manager, he called him "Mike" as he was adressing a subordinate.
good pickup never noticed
"Can you? That's so nice." The absolute malicious undertone is amazing.
To be fair, “malicious” or “sardonic and absolutely deserved”?
When does he say that in the video again?
It’s can’t* not can, and he’s being contemptuous, not malicious.

I like how him insulting the Sebring made Michael unhinged.
A few episodes later...
Andy: "What's the deal with Dwight doing your laundry?"
Michael: "Ugh, that's a long story."
That was a long story, but quite well told, Mike.
It is a long story. II mean Dwight really Schruted it that time.
The way he said “how dare you?” The second time always hits hard you can feel the betrayal!! 😂
The first makes me laugh but the second makes me sad
that look Michael gave the camera at 1:35 was a look of "I'm bout to end this man whole career"
And he certainly has the power to do so here on a literal level
Also 2:16
Angela is really underrated. Every moment she has, no matter how small, her timing was so perfect.

power move
"When I'm ready, Mike."
🤣 Such a boss move.
Love how it just took the criticism of the convertible to finally tick him off 😂😂😂
I always wonder how long mike would of pushed the guise if Dwight didn't mention the Sebring

His smile at 1:59 was so sinister. That’s amazing acting right there.
the random talking head of Phyllis saying "i think I'll quit" is incredible
Its Angela's face of disgust when Dwight is begging Mike lmao
Dwight going behind Michael's back (by meeting with Jan) was due to her insistence
‘Lead you into the black with ferocity’
Knowing Dwight, I bet he meant it 😅
He literally meant that and later when he became manager for a day when Michael goes for the interview at corporate. He actually paints the room black

Steve Carell was the best part of this show

for sure!

Ngl, Michael’s facial expression @1:59 gave me goosebumps😭
The convertible is ridiculous for this climate 😂 Michaels face

This episode was so great, the plot, the acting, the hilarity, etc etc. Everything.
The looks of shock and pitty in the other employees' faces as Dwight begs is just ..... Wow!! 😂😂
I love how the whole time we're waiting for Michael to drop the bomb on Dwight, so satisfying.
4:34 Michael yelling at Dwight like that will never not be funny😂😂😂
“When I’m ready, Mike” 😂
I’ve always liked that Phylis and Kevin were concerned about what Michael would do.😊
Love how insulting the car is what broke Michael 😂😂
he realized at that point how Dwight really felt, he was faking loyalty the entire time.
That and when he called him mike instead of Michael to make him feel less superior
Michael should’ve had him grill his bacons in the morning instead of doing the laundry lol
