Just one thing, I’m struggling to read the italic writing you used in the last two videos, it goes to fast and it’s so small!
yeah,for me it is quite small too and on a colorful background really hard to read

Yes! That, and the ‘thumbnails’. They’re small to begin with, then she makes its a combination of 3 different pictures…I can never quite tell what they are. 😂
You can fill the iron tree base with cut pieces of wood (2x4) and drill a hole in it to accept the metal rod of your tree. You can even use the screw pieces to keep it steady.
I love this idea, she could even use a log and drill a hole in the middle of that so that it looked that it was part of the actual tree!
If you are going for Victorian, your tree would look extra special with some battery operated, remote included, clip-on candles. They have them on the zon, they are very realistic, and would add a lovely touch.

Just a few tricks,,,Try using 3M removable hooks and floral wire for holding your garland to the mantle. Also using solid ornaments on the inner part of your tree will add dimension and fill in any gaps… reflects your lights as well. Love the moody vibes in your choices.
Green pipe cleaners work great as well to hold pieces in place.
There are no hard and fast rules to hanging ornaments. However, design experts tend to begin with larger ones. They tuck them deeper within the foliage to add depth. As a result, they achieve a beautiful, layered look.
On the other hand, smaller ornaments look best when hung on the tips of the branches. Designers do this to create a draping effect. Just sharing ideas in a safe space…there is no wrong or right way to decorate a tree. As long as it brings you and your family joy.
She seems to have brain fog lately. Her decorating has gone downhill. Like really amateur and she wasn't before.

It would be wonderful if you could make the font of the words you put on the screen a bit larger. Between the small size & the font, I cannot read what is written. Of course, I pause the video to zoom in, but I thought I would make this suggestion, in case others have the same issue. Thank you! 😊

If you wanted to use the new trees stand, cut a wood block the dimensions of the stand opening, and then drill out a hole in the center that will fit the tree base. Then you can have your victorian looking base with your faux tree.

Instead of the plastic pearls, be on the look out for antique/vintage mercury glass bead strands. They came in all the jewel tones you are looking for.

Totally agree with ironing the bows, and dropping the pearls.
Garlands are fine as long as real. This one I'm afraid is just messy and unbalanced. use some hooks etc and possibly attach small branches to a rope that holds it all in a ribbon.
Absolutely love the black fireplace and lamp shades . The mantel styling is gorgeous. The paper trees with the brass bells are a match made in heaven! Can't wait to try one of your candles. I am really partial to the Christmas scents.
Hi Macenna Idk if you checked out beeswax and coconut wax blend for your candles, these are better then soy, beeswax is more solid and harder then soy and coconut wax holds fragrance longer, is sub stainable and high yield I burn those at home and love them....just wanted to share 🙂
Organic beeswax also cleans the air!

If you need your fresh cut garland to hang a certain way, try using bonsai wire. Bonsai wire is meant to bend and manipulate the branches or small saplings, so it only makes sense to use it on garland. I hope this helps.

The mantle is very similar to Lone Fox/Drew’s

I mean this in a loving way. I had an uncle who would put tinsel on the Christmas tree one strand of tinsel at a time. The trees came out gorgeous.
I put ti sel on o e strand at a time. My sister stood back and THREW several strands on the tree. Cracked me up.

Tree look warm and cozy! Wouldve love to see another stab at some tinsels again to emulate icicles😆 don’t love the mantle so much, looks messy and random but maybe swag it in the middle to create a more focal kind of crown piece cleaner look.

I sorry MaCenna, I have a different taste than most I guess because the mantle looks...messy to my eye >_< I love the natural elements you brought into the garland as well as the bells and the silk ribbons. They look lovely. But the swag...I just...I don't know. And the elements on the tree blend on too much with the dark green. Can barely see them on camera 😅 I loved hanging out with you on TH-cam, though, and I love your vlogmas the best! I cannot wait!!

Love the whimsical mantle ❤ it's so 3D on camera I can only imagine how gorgeous it is in person and how heavenly and Christmasy it smells😊
You could still use the iron tree stand! Place the tree inside, and fill the stand with medium sized round stones. The weight of the stones will keep the tree up. I used to do this with a bucket to hold my live trees up - it also allowed me to water it.
If the garland is moved bit toward the left, it may look tidier I guess. The right side has a bit of a gap that makes it lose it's balance..
It was a tradition in our home to not decorate until first advent and the Christmas tree went up on the 23rd but this year I decided to decorate early. The lights and colours bring me joy in a very gray november. Looking forward to more Christmas content!

I am part Danish, and that is definitely where the spelling comes from. :) My family is Catholic, so the Advent Season is one of expectation of the coming of the Christ Child on Christmas! It's always an epic build-up for us, making small sacrifices throughout the 4 weeks and lighting a new candle on the wreath each Sunday leading up to Christmas! I plan to keep all those traditions like the Jesse Tree and advent wreath with my children, but since my baby isn't due til spring and this November feels extra dreary, I'm breaking that tradition a little this year haha
(I always understood it was a Catholic tradition to wait, but that may have stemmed from Denmark/other countries or cultures... I'm not sure! :) )

I was In Kmart in regional Australia Victoria and saw candles that were so similar to your vessels and were so similar in scent! They were obviously cheap scents ect but I was spewing thinking omg they are so similar!

I was so excited to decorate that I began in the middle of November. It's been a lot of fun to move items around until they were just right. The jewel tones with gold are so pretty in your living room. Love your mantel with its highs and lows; with bells, ribbon, bottle brush trees, and candlelight. Just delightful to the eyes!
Here’s my trick for the beaded garland (pearl). I use ornament hooks to drape the garland for absolute perfect symmetry around the tree. Try it, you will love it!
You need to open up the branches on the tree and all garland.
Love that you’re so specific with what you do for each season
you can use wires to wrap around the branches to manipulate and shape the branches similar to bonsai trees.

You were offering glass beads when you are a diamond. At some point you stopped dimming and your content elevated to diamonds. You can use that fab tree stand. Cut a short (6 to 10 inch) log that will fit into the stand. Then drill a hole in the center and stick the skinny tree base into the log. Voila

House looks lovely but I’m not feeling the off centered swag on the mantle. I like a more centered and tidy look.
My favorite local candle maker uses 2 types of vessels: heavy rocks glasses and black glass jars with bamboo lids. I love them. Reusable vessels are definitely the way to go!
