Good job great video. Not a GM owner but highly appreciate your work. Going from a Concorde to install interior options from 2002 300m special which I stripped engine fuse block to tail light wiring. Need dash and upgraded BCM speakers and door panels installed. Programming will be the issue fitment flawless. You got a nice ride very well done.

Was going to put the Platinum door panels in my Denali truck but decided not to bc the tan is lighter shade on them.
I talk about that at 6:12. I had to get more pieces to match. Thankfully I was able to find them.

The A-Pillars were easy, but the part under the windshield was a little tough because you have to cut around the vent.
@@WorkingWithWimberley oh ok, I see... Most of our trucks have VENT CRACKING ISSUES. I think this would mitigate that instead of cover all dash cover.... But the Interior looks clean.. I am going to take a stab at it......

Amazing beautiful project clean work. I plan to upgrade my 2007 ext to platinum but no used parts around me must order all from USA overseas shipping too much expensive. Can you put list by all parts diffrant between laxury and platinum.

Wow! You are the Man! I have the Harley edition Ext. Would love to finish Harley ing it out. This is giving me some great ideas. Idk what they're called, but I want to Harley those 2 spines that come down the sides along the windshield interior where the speakers are. What would you suggest?

I have a 2007 Escalade and I was wondering if I could put platinum parts on it like the cluster since mine is different and stuff like the trims, door panels, radio and center console
I know you can do the trims, door panels and console. I’m not sure about the electronics like the cluster and radio. You’d have to do some research on those.

They should fit. You just need to check the window switch trim. They changed them at some point on the front doors.

Thank you! I bought the cup holder from a junkyard that I found on car-part.com and they shipped it to me. Basically, you’d have to find one at a junkyard or eBay.

I have the same Escalade 2014 esv but mines have premium package I got the cold heating cup holders that I want to install can you explain on how did you wire the cables to the cigarette lighter power

It did keep cans cold. I actually never used it for anything hot. If your Escalade didn’t come with heated and cooled cup holders from the factory, the connector won’t be there. Can you make a video on replacing the center consul with the heated and cool cupholders.
Unfortunately I can’t. The Escalade EXT is gone. But the wiring is simple. Tap the power and ground from the cigarette lighter. And the rest of the wires can all just go to a ignition only power source.
Is it possible to go over how to fix sunroof when it won’t close
Unfortunately I don’t have the 2012 Escalade EXT anymore. I now drive a 2015 ESV.
Weird question but would you know how to hook up the platinum seat DVD players?
I don’t. If it’s separate from the rest of the entertainment system, you’d just need power. If it connects with the head unit, I don’t know how you’d do that.

Hey man, nice vid! I've got a 2010 EXT that could use a little something. Can I ask how you got the knee-contacting console trim piece off? Are they just held in by clips?? My right knee firmly hits that trim piece (the piece you covered with brown suede), and I am gonna have an upholstery shop modify it for clearance. Thanks! Dave F.
On the bottom closer to the pedals there are a few bolts. On the top closer to the steering wheel, it’s clips. That’s it.

Do you have a video showing how you wrapped the A-Pillars?
I show the process @ 3:45 and it’s the same for the A-Pillars. The only difference is I had to pull the existing fabric off the A-Pillars before I glued on the suede.

I got it all from eBay. It’s really the only way. You’ll have to check pretty much daily to see if someone lists the parts.

I purchased to platinum dash from eBay. The door panels came from a junkyard I found on car-part.com and they shipped them to me. All the rest of the stuff like the knee bolster, glove box and door sills came from a local junkyard. It was the only time I’ve ever seen an Escalade platinum in a junkyard. It was my lucky day.

How u get to fit the cup holder did you cut the air vent it don’t fit it’s to deep
I believe I heated the vent with a heat gun so that I could soften it. Then I pressed it in a bit to get the extra room for the cup holder. I didn’t cut it.
Where did you order the platinum door panels? I can’t find a good set no where.
I found mine at car-part.com but I also saw quite a few on eBay.

Thanks! I’m not sure about that steering wheel since it has different buttons and controls. I changed the door panels, door sills and some of the interior plastic trim. I disassembled parts of the dash and wrapped it with suede.

@@dianecb1997 There is no connector you can buy. Your Escalade was not equipped to plug in the cup holder wires. You have to cut, splice and connect the wires yourself. This is custom work that requires you to have a decent understanding of wiring.

I don’t have any links. Your best bet for the interior pieces is going to be eBay and if you’re lucky, a local junkyard. The suede was purchased from Joanne fabric.

My 2008 Escalade windshield vent piece is cracked in the EXACT same place as yours. Wonder why that is. Any ideas?
It’s a known issue. It’s cheap plastic and becomes brittle being in the sun.

Besides the interior, the only other thing I did was a Gibson dual exhaust. 👍🏽

Thanks. No I don’t have a video on that. It was trial and error. I eventually just tapped into the power of the lighter.

The highest cost was the door panels. I think I paid like $600 total for all four. And the platinum dash and cup holders I paid like $300 total for that. The rest of the plastic interior panels I found cheaply at a local junkyard and all the suede was really inexpensive, it just took the effort to wrap the parts. And I did offset the cost by selling all the original parts that I replaced. That brought the cost down quite a bit. So if I had to guess, it probably cost me $300 to $400 total after selling all the old parts. It took a lot of effort though.
Where did you buy the suede material from?
I got it from Joann Fabrics. You can find something similar on Amazon, just make sure it has a little stretch. It should contain spandex. Something like this: amzn.to/3D2IRiz

No it wasn’t. But it was pretty easy to do. I tapped into the power and ground on the cigarette lighter for the power wires. And all the rest, I combined and tapped into an accessory fuse in the fuse box so that it knows to only turn on when the key is in the on position. That was it.

Yes, it’s the factory radio. The cup holder is wired to get its power from the cigarette lighter. The cup holders aren’t bolted in. They just pop in and out with clips like the dash pieces.

I found a salvage yard on car-part.com that had a set. There’s also a decent amount of them on eBay.
