- Developed between the Kawasaki Racing Team and the Kawasaki factory, the 2016 Ninja ZX-10R is as close as a WSBK bike on the road can get. Now see the bike that Jonathan Rea and Tom Sykes will base their KRT racing machines on next season and that will be available from road riders in Kawasaki dealers in 2016.

Just got mine in today! Very excited to take it to the track. It looks sweet as heck in person. Pics and vids don't do the KRT colorway justice.
Always was a fan of the new ZX-10R, but it had one flaw... the rear tail light... So glad they updated that part. It looks damn good.
Can't wait for mine to come in.

Yeah looks good, have liked what they've done. Its new with all the important shortcomings addressed. Its familiar enough will not be a super learning curve for the team during winter test !

+KutWrite I hate it too!!!! I always get the comment " one of your lights are out" luckily there are HID kits out there to fix that issue but that time and labor
+KutWrite I've heard it's for safety in the way of being able to identify the vehicle as a motorcycle and not a car. Dual headlights placed close together can resemble a car that is far away, whereas a single light is more commonly identified as a motorcycle and less likely to be judged as very far away, therefore helping to stop people from pulling out in close oncoming traffic.
+KutWrite I hate that too. Cops play dumb and pull bikes like that over, saying that a headlight is out. The R1 gets it right.

zx10r and gsx-r 1000 two best japanese 4-pistons sports litres, kawas 1000cc bit more like for me, but 750cc best - suzuki is gsx-r ) Yamas and Hondas japanese 1000 and 750 always is divide third place for me, more than 10 last years.. Nice work Kawa! nice brakes in stock, now not only on Dycati )
+paracelsus gsxr-1000? Suzuki hasn't won anything in 10 years, and their bikes are the poorest build quality between the 4. It is also the slowest. They went bankrupt in America.

I've been a die-hard kawi fanboy, but the looks of recent kawi bikes are more like 'love or hate'. Sure they are aggressive and lean but they're not as refined as other European bikes. 06 zx6r was the best design from Kawi IMO.
+baksers kawasaki design was pretty much always a love or hate thing, you just happened to love the older ones.

baksers The "always" I was referring to was after the year 2000. Before that the standard and supersport bikes were very similar between manufacturers, save a handful of exceptions.

i just rode my kawasaki for the first time since getting my ducati and i found it hard to ride for its tendency to 'stand up' as he just said...i felt like i was trying to tack in a sail boat and really didnt like it which surprised me, i thought id always be able to ride the hell out of my little dirt bike...maybe i just need more time back on it

looks like they have something, shit cluster still though. Not that you should be staring at it with 200hp haha. Look at the R1 simular tech but easier to make adjustments to settings with better cluster

Gawd a guy needs to be a technician to ride one of these things! All that power going to that little contact patch on the rear tire; replace every 2000 miles? How expensive will a low-side on the racetrack be? Will I need to take a 2nd mortgage for the first valve service? How long will my motorcycle/car license last? Be careful what you wish for, you might get it! The 1000cc sport-bikes are getting TOO awesome; where do you go from here?
+gwwayner Well, you can get a 600 and pretty much be where the liter bikes were at 10 years ago. It is not like you are going to hit 6th gear at the track on these new liter bikes anyways
