Look forward to seeing the finished bike and testing, especially the carbs as i have just bought two of the same only 30mm for my TT600r. Probably have to change to smaller pilot jets and larger main jets.
Love your videos for the xt350!! I have a XT350 and a xt600 There is a company in Australia that has a kit for the 600 but I’m not sure if the have one for the 350 that has an adapter for the head and air box that puts a single flat side carb in place of the two barrel, from the videos I’ve seen it looks and seems to run fairly well
looks great! good call hanging on to the carbs, i wouldnt sell them myself. i would hang on to them. maybe use a fine hand file to massage the new carbs in and ive got nothin for the new chokes hahah. i saw the bend in the rim right off when it first came into frame said whoa boy it looks like mine. i ended up bending mine worse than it was trying to pull the flat spot and said piss on it, i get a new rim somewhere. i think you may be able to fix yours but it would take pulling the spokes and jack to spread it with or beer keg to pound it down around. but enjoyed the how to vid and look forward to more. maybe show us your how you sorted the speedo and battery.
Good call. I will do a follow up video on the speedo and the battery situation. I liked what I did there. Also ya the Rim...lol. Not looking forward to that. I've been stalling cuz I know its going to be a bitch. Might end up doing the same and just finding a new rim. Thanks for the comment and support!
@@todorow22 my rim is way worse than yours and has only been noticable now that new tire is starting to wear down and then only on the street. So if you put a fresh tire on it you may be able to procrastinate another year until you find a fresh rim.

I'm hoping to have a new video up in the next few weeks with major updates!

So can you keep the same rear suspension and swing arm and hub lock when switching to the disk break
It doesn’t need any more power if it is jetted and tuned properly mine scares people. Faster than a modern day 450. 1995 xt350
Hi
Can you give the info about jetting carb properly and tuned?
😂never-ending...checking it out new
That's going to be killer.
I just rebuilt the original. If jetted correctly it runs like a fricken monster. Goes 80 mph top speed but quick. And holds 65 mph all day
What specs did you jet them to?
