- The great prophet and adviser, Samuel, has died. King Saul now rules the land of Israel. As the Philistines gather to fight the Israelites, Saul's rule is about to end. He prays desperately to God for help, but all he hears is silence. God, it seems, has abandoned him. Taking matters into his own hands, Saul takes the risk and consults the witch of Endor for answers. But even kings need to listen to God....

I actually feel bad for king Saul. He was just scared and was never fit to be a king . I wish god would’ve gave him mercy but unfortunately there was no mercy in those days .
I enjoyed this but wish they included a reference to the text they dramatize this from so that those who don't know it can look it up for themselves.

The claim that Arabs are Ishmaelites is could be mostly true most biblical scholars are not sure if Middle East is descendants of Ishmael. But the Hebrews or Israelites we’re not black but middle eastern nomadic people living tents in Deuteronomy 26:5 saids “And thou shalt speak and say before the lord thy God, A Syrian ready to ready to perish.” In the Hebrew translation “ And say and And you shall answer a Syrian your God Yahweh before my father was about to perish.” In context Moses is remembering a history or israel from time of Jacob and his family in the land of Canaan and going down to Egypt and eventually deliverance and exodus into the promise land

I don't blame Saul for hiding out in the tents. He'd already been made king of the Israelites and had olive oil poured over his head.
That taking a 10 of the flock and then becoming slaves sounds real familiar like modern day Christianity.
There is one point that should of been taught, the witch was a normal good person but yes she was a witch and even had empathy for Saul. So the teaching about the witch is that there are good and bad witches so don't take your eyes of Jesus because you never know who is really a witch. God bless!
