LANDLORD FINDS DANGEROUS TENANT BEHAVIOR! 😳😱🏠

- Routine visits to rental properties as a landlord are of paramount importance in ensuring the safety and well-being of both tenants and the property itself. By regularly inspecting the conditions of the rental units, landlords can identify any potential hazards or maintenance issues that may compromise the safety and comfort of the occupants. Furthermore, these visits provide an opportunity to document any damages or violations, allowing landlords to address them promptly and fairly. Timely intervention not only prevents further deterioration of the property but also helps maintain positive tenant relationships. Routine inspections also allow landlords to stay informed about the overall condition of their rental portfolio, ensuring that all properties meet the necessary standards and comply with relevant regulations. By prioritizing these visits, landlords demonstrate their commitment to providing safe and habitable living spaces while safeguarding their investments.

Cool story 🎉
Years ago I moved into a house after a while I met the man next to me he had no power. He simply couldn't afford more than his rent after losing his job and the person he shared the rent with moved out. Without hesitation I offered and threw a power lead over the fence he ran a fridge a fan a lamp a laptop and whatever else he needs. I never cared I just helped him out he was on hard times. A few months later he found work and sorted himself out. He offered me money for helping him, I said no. I was helping you not lending to you, we are all good.
About a year went by and I forgot to pay my power bill. My power was turned off. I called the company to find out why. I went straight down and paid it and the fees to have it turned back on. But that still left me a few days without power. I had no shame telling him what happened and my stupidity and he was more than happy to throw the lead back over the fence to help me back. I would never have asked anyone for help. The fact we'd done this before I literally giggled about my situation after the phone call went over and told him I'd fuckedup and without me even asking. He said no problem I gotchu and we ran a cord. My fridge and second freezer full of food were saved for the weekend till my power was back on. How blessed I felt for the help and never felt like I put him out not for a second. come Monday I went unplugged and he's saying no you can leave it in, you helped me out for months. I laughed said your right mate favour returned paid in full. All people should be helping each other out and the world is a better place.

Fire investigator told me that a very high percentage of residential house fires are caused by extension cords…
My now retired father, was a firefighter from 1970 to about 1977, he then became an arson investigator for another 10+ years and then served as a city fire marshall for another 20 years after that. I recall many a time growing up, how he would come home to change his clothes and have to throw them away because of the burnt flesh smell imbedded into his clothes. The burnt smell came from bodies of unfortunate souls that didn't make it out of their home before help arrived . Just think about that for a minute.....Those cheap extension cords are notorious for electrical fires. Running a cord like this yay- hoo, is a potential disaster waiting to happen and lives lost. Not only the lives of those within that apartment, but the lives everyone in the building. Pretty ignorant and selfish as f*ck if you ask me, as well as being a thief. On the third day, my neighbor left with the AC on, the extension cords resting on a 90's urethane foam couch. The wires melted and started a fire. The breaker did not trip, allowing the wire to get hotter and hotter until the whole apartment caught flames. Never use these deadly extension cords unattended or for a long time. I've always said naw that'll never happen to me.. but it did
Same situation happened with my brother in law, but he lived in an apartment complex. Because of irresponsible neighbors he lost his belongings, the apartment was destroyed. Fortunately, happened during the day, the building was basically empty with tenants working, children were in school, when the fire started. Instead of happening during the night with families at home sleeping… Thank God no one was hurt or worse killed and they only had financial losses. Objects are replaceable, the insurance paid for the recovery and replacement of belongings lost in the fire.
That was the last time he lived in an apartment, that fire was traumatizing.

All he gotta do is flip the breaker off.
Well yeah its powering their refrigerator, if they dont have an alternative then the food is going to spoil
I doubt it’s powering their refrigerator with the time that it took for him to respond. He was prolly lying

Wrong 😂
It's not starting no fire goofball that is what a breaker box is for and no drug abusers are not treated well only the people with money have privilege 😂 you are a shame to your parents name and you take zero accountability in your actions watch what you say about people trying to put in your two Sense

They live in the building that would catch fire?? If it burns down, there's a good chance they would die in the fire. So they won't just move.

Dude, I hope you checked in on them or contacted their social worker. Those people need help and that doubles since it sounds they have a baby in there.

I burned my home down. I lost my job, couldn't keep lights on. Got a lantern with kerosene so i can see. I kocked it over one night. I was not on drugs or anything but life sometimes gives you lemons and you do what you must. Ig a lot of people live lives without struggle, i hope that continues.
It's surprising actually how many people can't relate to struggle, good for them but sometimes it's upsetting when you go through something so difficult and nobody could understand or even care to

That's legally called "Theft Of Services" and is a criminal offense...sorta like tapping into the neighbors cable for free t.v. cable.
Shit im s criminal then😂
Impossible to tap into neighbors cable . Lol that analog shit is long gone. But I see your criminal offense point of view 🤣
Damn I just would steal cable from the pole lmao
Actually, it’s not. If they have use of the area where that’s plugged in it’s likely actually allowed if they were using the proper kind of cord temporarily.
You see the thing about common areas in an apartment building is it assumed that everyone in the building has at least temporary use of the common areas within reason. It is also likely that a court would rule that this specific cord in this specific instance was not allowed because it poses a hazard to everybody in the building. people heard he used the right kind of cord and it was for a couple days pretty much very little anybody could do about that unless of course it was specifically mentioned in the lease as being a prohibited activity.
@@jodavis650 that won’t do any good lol
When I was 15 my mom couldn't pay our electric bill. We were sleeping in the car in the driveway with the windows down because that was cooler than inside -this was in Houston during the summer. Our neighbor came out and saw us and let my mom use an extension cord to plug the fridge in so our food wouldn't go bad and another one so we could plug in a fan. This probably wasn't the best idea, but those that haven't been through the struggle shouldn't be so quick to judge. They're young and sound too coherent and genuinely apologize. People that are strung out don't talk or act like that. They're probably figuring out adult life and how hard it is to pay bills when you're first starting out. We judge too much as a society 😞
Thank you. We do judge wayyy too much. It's sad.
Your mom should’ve hit the pole 💃
This is dangerous and selfish! It has nothing to do with being judgemental.
@@yourdad9168 You’re actually insane, clearly a person of good wealth 💀
The fact that you thought someone was being kind to you when you were 15 when they actually could have been the direct reason your family burned to death doesn’t change the fact that it was a terrible idea, and the wrong thing to do. Plugging in a kitchen appliance, air conditioner, or anything that uses high amperage using an extension cord is an 11/10 dumb thing to do. In this video they used an extension cord plugged into an extension cord. That WILL burn down eventually. Hate landlords all you want, this was absolutely the wrong thing to do, and you’re straight up ignorant of how electronics work if you think anything otherwise
I hope they are keeping up with the rent because it looks like they aren’t bothering with the electric bill! 😫🍀
The whole apartment is plugged into there😂
A next door neighbor ran a heavy gage multi outlet power cord to my exterior outlet after their power was cut off. They were running their refrigerator, a fan, computer, and a couple of lamps.
So, it's not just tenants that do this to landlords.
Get your breakers mapped and you have to do is shut that breaker down if you want to be evil set a timer to it. See if they complain
@fuckutube9217 Righttt, I'd wait til they are sleeping or at work (if they even work) and unplug it...paying to replace spoiled food would quickly become more expensive than an electric bill.
@fleekwoodmatt4316 Their gate was locked, so I couldn't pull the cord back into their yard. I cut the end off, making it unusable 😁. They got the message.
@fleekwoodmatt4316 piss me off and I would put a dead European plug. Set it to 440v

@@cinniboy4722yea let's not put a lock on that outlet so they can steal some more power AND potential burn the entire building down along with a few people too huh.
