I always feel lucky when I don’t have any fails! It’s something to celebrate! I’m so sad you didn’t enjoy the Alter Ego palette. I really enjoy the two I’ve used! Is it my favorite…no. But I loved all the looks I’ve done. I wish I’d gotten that Mirage color story!
I also bought the alter ego palette in Decemeber. I haven't used it enough to have an opinion ( I got sick and I don't use makeup when I'm sick), but first impressions are that the mattes work well, and the shimmers are okay. I also bought their eye shadow primer which was my fave thing from the order, so maybe the palette performed better because of the primer.
Do you happen to remember the other rice toner you were using? I have been using the Im From Rice and liking it - but a similar product in a serum might be a good option for the winter for me

I liked the looks I created but I hated the process of creating them so I know I’ll never use them again lol
I totally agree bout the Haus Labs concealer. That and the Gucci have become my holy grails lol.

I didn’t try the primer. I figured since I have a backup of my NARS already I’d rather give it away

It’s the Haruharu one. Been using it for a few years and love it. Tried to switch and went back
