my mom just recently got back from her trip in europe and she said everything was beautiful and the castles were fun, but the food wasnt it 😔 hopefully ur experience is better lol. and for what I wear in summer, i like the sorcerer palette and i mix it w the dragonfruit palette from clionadh, very fun color combos there. and lastly, i finally got the wizard palette from fantasy cosmetica and oh my goodness now i now why you gasped when you swatched graviturgy, that shade looks absolutely unreal *-*

I recently discovered the Byredo eyeshadow sticks and the MOB Beauty clay eyeshadows, and I've been really enjoying smearing them on my eyes and then adding a cream highlight to my inner corners. I suppose time will tell if I continue to enjoy creams into the colder months.

Awww, I wanted to order the Isamaya INDUSTRIAL COLOUR PIGMENTS 2.0 for this Black Friday. Last Black Friday, I went with other brand as a splurge. What a shame it’s currently sold before I placed my first order.

I became aware of the Industrial 2.0 and the Kalahari too late, alas. Thank you for the tip in another video to mix the LE liquid highlight and velveteen. It worked beautifully and now I have a solid use case for the several velveteens I have but would have decluttered as they're just a bit too drying and faffy to apply as lip products. 😁

I just love the Yucca palette. It’s perfect for every season.

Natasha Denona can do a deep neutrals palette called the Espresso palette with dark browns and pop of dark muted colorful tones with some transitions suitable for medium to deep skin tones.

I’ve been thinking a lot about personal seasonal makeup trends. My eyeshadow tastes used to change season to season: colorful in the warm month, neutral earthen tones in fall, and cool smoky colors in the winter. But over the last year I’ve mostly kept to the same aesthetic. This is also true when I build custom palettes with my single shadows. I’ll include a few “fun” shadows, but I almost always use the softer, more neutral shades. I pulled out some colorful makeup for this spring and summer, but they haven’t appealed to me very much. Especially the newer Nomad palette, which was far too colorful. I first felt bad about this. But now I’m seeing it as evidence that I’m refining my interests and style. I am going to keep these things in mind when I make decisions about what makeup to keep and buy in the future.

I really love the various Byredo formulas - they’re more elegant to work with than the high pigment formulas the US market seems to prefer. They’re more about texture and effect, more of a grown up, Madison Avenue kind of feel but definitely not boring in any way. The Dysco 5-pan is an amazing formula in particular it feels very cream to powder.

Ohhhh, I never thought to combine the LE highlight and velveteen, I will try this tomorrow! 😁

Oh how funny, we're American immigrants living in the UK and my eldest just flew from Edinburgh to Seattle to see family and we'll do the same in September. Definitely bring your spf because in London we're about to have what for us is a heatwave. 😅

I'm always surprised at how beautiful I find their large pallets in videos, but pictures of them seem to flatten them out to where my eyes are like "I am looking at the same thing. It all looks the same." 😅

Have you tried the Prequel Universal Skin Solution hypochlorous acid spray post shaving? I swear by it for facial redness AND it works great on my legs post shaving. Just an idea if you haven't already tried it. You got me hooked on Lisa Eldridge overall and the Haus Labs concealer. Thank you for that! Have fun in Europe and stay safe.

I’ve absolutely been loving using this palette, and it’s scratching the itch I had for Remembrance, which I passed on! I do find it strange your compact doesn’t have a sticker on the back, mine does with all the shade names listed - production mistake perhaps?

Thank you for going over this palette. I do have the Remembrance palette. I did end up buying Mineralscapes. I found myself succumbing to cooler palettes. I am surprised at how much I’ve been exploring them.

I'm glad the ND Golden has been performing great so far. It is still on my wishlist for later. I just got the Viseart Soleil La Plage (on sale for 50% off!). I liked it bc it's a nuetral w a twist palette I can take on vacation. I'm guessing cardboard packaging is more shock resistant than plastic ones and it's so compact (a shade in my fav quad shattered on a recent intl trip - it was in acrylic casing). And per my prefs, it's magnetic. 🥰 Bonus: AND it has a mirror. 🤩 Compact, magnetic, w mirror. My trifecta of packaging! It's also the one Viseart palette that suits my yellow undertone as a neutral palette. 😅 I also bought the petit Chou Chou for fun. Omg. It's so cute and tiny in person! And it comes out of its sleeve like Trident bubblegum! 😂

LOL I also have OCD and yes I hate how people use “obsessed” to talk about their fixations 😂 Also I miss Seattle! Especially when your weather is 10 degrees cooler than we’re getting here (Portland)

Its too hot where i live for candles to be used regularly, but the scents of some of these sound yummy lol. But like you i get headaches easy from scents so ill have to do some research before buying anything from boysmells, but they r absolutely on my radar now !

Clicked because I was *horrified* at thinking it would actually smell like poppers, lmao. I love grapefruit - it is one of my favourite candle scents. Is it peppers like paprikas and chillies? I do not watch much fragrance content because I despise sweet/gourmand scents, but I think we have similar tastes. The blackberry/strawberry one sounds like it smells like woodland around here. Not too sure about the mushroom one because certain mushroom smells make me want to immediately die e.g 'cream of mushroom soup' 🤢

Still loooooove that shirt. It's a pretty palette but not my colour story. If they still have it in stock when Black Friday sales roll around, might consider it. Then again, coconut oil and I are not friends. The one palette I do want to get soon-ish is the Oslo travel palette. Per usual, great video.

This color story is super friendly to my yellow undertone and I like Nomad's quality, but I will admire from afar and dupe it. I can't buy a big palette if it's not magnetic (w some very few exceptions). I gather most of their customers prefer a mirror and not having to pay extra for magnetic pans, so that's understandable. Thanks for the review and swatches. Nice to hear the quality is good. 👍🏻
