Awesome video! Thanks so much for sharing. I’ve been fortunate enough to purchase one in golden white pearl IMHO I think it’s the holy Grail for the 24 model year. Especially being a 25th anniversary. My only complaint with motor company is I think it should’ve come with a CVO 25th anniversary cover for price your paying.
Damn congrats on one hell of a bike! I think I agree with you, there should have been more to celebrate that anniversary - How has the bike been for you overall so far?
I have the exact same bike and I completely agree "Don't modify this bike" except for the exhaust. I had to switch the slip ons to TAB Zombies because I feel like the growl really completed the package for me. Other than that nothing else, everything is perfect for the solo rider
WEPA!🔥🔥🔥 Bro! This is hands down the best made video that i’ve seen on the internet about this bike. Bravo! I ride a 22 RG limited CVO and totally see this as my next level bike!
Great review man! I just put a deposit down for a white one at Bergen county Harley and can't wait trade in my 17' CVO breakout.... Need more creature comforts!
@@FXDLSBrooklyn I just picked up the white one this past Saturday! Your review was spot on. Crazy how it instills confidence when going into turns. I've never "crushed miles" before, however I definitely want to give it a try on this bike.
Awesome video fellow sport touring guru🤙🏽well said I have the raven black CVO RG ST since June 2024, only I’m not able to crush miles like you folks in the mainland USA🙈I’m content in just crushing miles in the islands😂I haven’t changed or did any upgrades thus far just like you said it’s awesome the way it came off factory. I digress who knows what the future may bring after 25K options ?? Ride on ride safe keep the awesome content coming🤙🏽
I love this bike. Absolutely one of my favorites, the only thing is I wish is that it came with an extra seat so you can ride two up if you choose. Especially at that price point.
What do you think with rear seat and the high box? All factory even the paint job. I’m about to buy but some people are saying this bike for solo riders So what do you think about passenger ? They don’t really tell why passenger set up won’t do good with this bike. Maybe because of the power? Or dynamics?
When this bike was first announced I was super excited. Then after going and looking at it in person it started to fall short in my opinion. The paint is ok nothing crazy special, Up until a handful of years ago the CVOs had jaw dropping paint schemes. They used the standard rear brake rotor instead of a weaved one. No heated grips as well. My local dealership here is selling this bike at $55,000. For that price I could build one hell of a Dyna or go buy a factory Indian Challenger and have money left over. I think Harley is stepping in the right direction but they aren't there yet. Again these are just my personal opinions. Great video as always man!
Yes you have money left over because you bought a Polaris using Indian badging. It’s an imitation no matter what you call it. The Challenger is fugly. The tank and the fairing are goofy looking. Only Indian that looks nice to me is the Chieftain but it’s very under powered. Hear they are coming out with a Thunderstroke 122. Hopefully it won’t be so anemic.
@@seeda3473 I could care less if it isn't a "true Indian" because the same could be said about Harley. They got bought out by AMF and then got bought back by a group of people. Hell Harley isn't even controlled by an American anymore and has more Chinese parts on them than ever before. I'm not loyal to one brand because truth is there are so many better bikes out there for a fraction of the price. The whole, "the bike is underpowered" makes no sense to me as well. These aren't race bikes and they got way more than enough power from the factory to tour across the country. I just got back from a 3,200 mile moto camping trip that I took on my Dyna that still has the original 96" engine it.
There are a couple of things this bike needs that Harley dropped the ball on. First, rear brake rotor should be wave style to match the front. And for a Performance CVO, it should come with the rear Bag Guards to match the front Crash Bar. Besides those two things, I also added Khrome Werks Gloss Black Slip Ons. Looks cleaner and sounds better.
@@FXDLSBrooklyn hey I know you don’t own the CVO ST, but by chance do you know how the rear shocks adjust? Is all the way clockwise full soft, or firm? Did you adjust yours when we had it?
One more thing... finally Harley is paying attention to suspension.... thank the lord... inverted fronts should be standard on all bikes, every make and model
Absolutely beautiful bike!!!, So The Amazing Harley Davidson Road Glide CVO ST it's really a Magnificent, Majestic, Impressive, Awesome and Powerful American Beast built to Cross The USA from coast to coast with Style, Confort and The Pride to be riding a beautiful Machine that will make you feel The very King of the freeways!!!, Truly love this Amazing Machine!!!, Great video and explanation as well!!!, Thanks for sharing!!!
I rode with some serious bikers, most of them had 20-25k invested into their bikes. The cost of the bike and new mods easily passed 50k. My bike came off the floor and it was fast and smooth but I could not keep up with those guys. I met a few guys who had well over 50k invested into their bikes and they were (are) badass. I don’t ride like they do but I think a lot of ppl (not bikers) buy a bike like this and have no idea how hard they can ride that machine.
Ya .. it's a sweat bike. I would love to have one. If the cards were right. I dont love the new tank or looks yet. I am concerned about first year issues with the vvt, to iron out. But other than that, costing as much a new modest suv.. is hard to swallow. I know people complain about a h.d cost but in all fairness a goldwing cost more than a roadgluid in every trim other than cvo.
I very much enjoyed my time on this bike, but it would not be enough to step off my Low Rider ST - However, if I ever had to choose a bagger, this was the one that came the closest to what I would need 🏁⚡️
I wanted this bike at first. I had to realize that I'm gonna do too many mods to justify buying the ST. Overall, it seems like a good bike for someone who would do minimal mods.
Let’s be honest…It definitely needs cams because I’m constantly punishing two of my neighbors with the STs Being a previous Harley Fan myself. I know from experience, you definitely have to go in the motors of any Harley to get any type of real performance. They’ve always been money pits & once I hopped on the Challenger I was sold…

One has the ST & one has the 23 CVO in the whiskey color..$58grand for that bike & it kills him that I spanks his ass every time he tries me on the open highway or any situation.
It's like I said, to me the bike felt like doing 8+ years of modification to a bike in one instance, and I think cost definitely reflects that. Definitely not an MSRP I can swing in the shorterm, but for someone who can, you could actually wind up saving money in terms of how much all of that custom performance work can add up to on top of a base Road Glide MSRP
I like what HD has done with this Bike...But its a Bike for someone who has $45K of disposiable income...and gots to have the latest and greatest and all that infotainment tech....For me and Guys like me....We will keep our TC's without all that infotainment tech and wrench as we go to keep them running....Because the way i see it the cost of new Bikes have gotten out of hand and the quality hasnt gotten better but a little worse along with all that unnecessary infotainment tech...
Yeah that's actually the part that is really lost on me, because for all my bikes I always keep my dash/bars as minimal as possible - No speakers, no gadgets, not even a phone mount - To me a lot of that stuff is just added weight an a distraction - However, I do like how it cleans the dash up to delete the gauges and project them digitally, for that purpose I can get behind
