I think there is an agreement that Disney cannot copy or make a spider man ride like universal has. I suggest you to check the video of themepark history of spidernab the ride
@@agrocerybagduh Universal has the theme park rights to Marvel characters east of the Mississippi. However, the Spiderman ride Disney made at DCA is awful and laughable. Just like their Marvel Campus stageless stunt show is awful too. The only thing they did right was the swing-flying Spiderman bot and the decor-food for Pym.
@@agrocerybagduh ok, but they can at least try to make it better in a different way, that doesn't mean that they have to get lazy, they could have maybe thought if something else to do, and you know what Disney has been doing worse with theming lately.
I have been going to Disney world every year (except for covid years) since I was like 8 (I’m 15 now) and I am so sad that Avengers Campus is only at Disneyland because that’s on the other side of the country from me🥲 but thanks for uploading this! Me and my dad have been watching your videos for a couple of years now and we love them😁
@@theturtwig50 SAME, I went there nearing the end of this Summer and it was honestly disappointing. The only thing we managed to do there was watch 2 shows. One of them was Spider-man but it didnt even use the special stunt robots Disney was showing off so much :(.Plus, I really wanted to go on the spiderman ride, but the online line was full and never available to book. I wish Disney did more with Acengers Campus :/
It looks slightly better than Midway Mania (the worst) and Astro Blasters but still pretty lazy. Way too many screens and not enough physical theming. I’ll try it if the line is under 30 min. Bring on the E ticket! I know that they are rolling out Avengers Campus in stages but so far it looks cheep and plastic.
Thank you for being honest as I agree with everything you said. No disrespect to anyone who enjoys the ride, as I am sure it is incredibly fun, but Disney being one of the forerunners of animatronics and the genius imagineers they employ, I guess I expected more than just another screen filled, blaster ride. Still, all love and respect as I am simply giving my opinion.
Amazing Camera view, I personally really want to ride this ride, and you have really shown some light on it so I kinda know what I'm gonna ride at disneyland! keep up the good work!
I love this video about at Disneyland California Adventure that Peter Parker who loves spider man in avengers campus because I love that person he's awesome to use web their fingers and also I really love video Tpmvids
That sadly can't happen unless Universal and Marvel decide to split and end their current contract, since the contract states Disney World can't use Spider Man in their rides (even tho imo the universal spider man ride is way better than the Disney one)
Universal: Spider-Man is a respected comic book superhero and so in our version of the ride he faces terrible challenges and villains and manages to save the day as well as the riders and you as the rider go along for an action-packed adventure through New York City with your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. Disney: Spider-Man is an incompetent child who needs your help to clean up his mess caused by MERCHANDISE MERCHANDISE MERCHANDISE!
TPM VIDS, love the video, great work!!!! By the way, do you think that it would be neat if Disney's Hollywood studios had a Water based dark ride? Please let me know as soon as possible!!!!
I’m going to come right out. I remembered riding it for this first time. At the beginning when the spider bot jumps toward you before Spider-Man stops it, I jumped in my seat. I jumped in my seat! That was how good the 3D effects work. And the web slinging was so cool. Not only are the webs different colors so you can identify your shots, but you can do more than shoot projectiles, you can shoot like a rope of web to drag a spider bot onto another.
I feel like I'm losing my mind because why do I remember being in this line and seeing Tom Holland when I've never been to Disneyland?? what's going on lol
Is it just me or does this ride give off a Transformers ride at universal vibe 🙁😌😜😁. It reminds me of that except for the only part where you’re not using your hands to shoot webs. 😂
From looking at this it doesn’t look too bad, but compared to the one at Universal…yeah no. I wish this was more like that one, but with Vulture, or even Mysterio to fit in with the MCU Spider-Man.
Has someone who’s been tell me- is the Peter & Spider-Bot intro projection in the first minute of the video more convincing in person? It’s very TV screen-y when filmed.
@@Nicole-so4gl I’ve actually been to Disneyland and ridden it a handful of times since I wrote that comment- I agree! The ride is super fun and while it does feel thin in certain elements the theming pre/post ride is flawless.
TPM did I really go on WEB SLINGERS before you :0 I went to the attraction on NOV 4 and NOV 5. how i would rate the WEB SLINGERS IS A 8% out of 10% because their is almost no animatronic's on the ride it, is only screens, and wasn't really happy making on the ride, and my wrists would get sore really fast but so that in the un positive revue now with the positive i could talk with other people around the park and tell them about what you told me and i recommend you you are a great youtuber i really love your work thank you. :)
When I went on this for the first time as a calm ride person I had 27 panic attacks at once but it was okay because it was a fun ride ( did not actually happen i just got super scared)
This ride looks like the one that was in Niagara Falls but an even worser version. If you wanna go see an actual marvel theme park. Come to Islands of Adventure in Orlando.
I don't know if my eyes was deceiving me or not, but did I just see Stormbreaker in the cases during the Guardians of the Galaxy Mission Breakout segment of the ride?
As a huge Disney fan, I have to say this is probably the WORST ride I have gone on at Disney parks EVER. Its one of the most disappointing rides to ever come out of the company who made Rise of the resistance. I know they had little to no land, and that there is supposed to be a bigger ride than this one coming up but that doesn’t excuse the fact that its lazy, uses an overused ride system and is an insult to the superhero is probably more popular than most Marvel heroes combined.
Avengers Campus is bad and Disney really went low budget. The design is not that great, the shows are low budget and not entertaining, the attraction is literally blown away by a ride that was designed in the 90's. Not worth the time to go to this area of the park. Only cool part is when they launch the spiderman robot.
This ride was fun, but a little disappointing. It's basically Midway Mania, but the arcade element worked better for that ride. TLDR Good for the kids, don't buy the toys that they push, and ride it once just for the experience.
I think it is pretty lame. Kids that play video games might like it. To me it looks like they just pull you up to a bunch of screens in 3D. Don't they have a couple other ones just like that as well? I seem to recall a Buzz Lightyear one in Disneyland, and isn't there a Toy Story one also in DCA? No real imagineering here.
You know it’s kinda sad when a 1990s Spider-Man ride is ten times better than this one from 2020
100 times better.
