    Hey guys! I know I probably just should just leave it alone but I have to comment so I can sleep tonight! So Carly and I try a couple of unique chocolate bars in this reaction video! I thought it was kind of a fun thing to do in the videos that could add a little something to the reactions! In this YT condensed video it seems like a lot , but really it was 5 minutes out of the 90+ minute movie. I think
    eating treats is totally part of the movie viewing experience but we’ll take the feedback and do it during credits or in the beginning or something. I promise we were still watching and listening while “stuffing our faces” as well! ok that’s all, love you all!

    I feel you two missed a LOT of clever things in this movie because you were far too distracted by chocolate to pay attention. So many little things and details happened while both of you were looking down or talking over it.
    British humour is a lot more reliant on paying attention than American comedies than tend to spoon feed the audience more.

    • @Itwasalwaysme_Noone

    According to the DVD commentary, when Ed attempts to cheer Shaun up at the Winchester with plans of binge drinking, he is actually summarizing the events of the next day (Z-day) entirely in drinking references. "Bloody Mary" - Checkout Girl in the back garden, "Bite at the King's Head" - Philip, "Couple" - David and Di, "Little Princess" - Liz, "Stagger back" - impersonate zombies, "Bar for shots" - firing the rifle at the Winchester.

      That’s the point of the beginning of the movie, for sure (that we move through life like zombies already).
      I love this movie. I really like all the Edgar Wright/Simon Pegg/Nick Frost collabs. I prefer to pay attention to movies but certainly don’t look askance at random snacking (this is how my sisters and I also watch movies when we’re together). I don’t expect critical film commentary on cinematography, direction, screenwriting, etc. from Cassie/Carly. I see this channel as being an educational journey more for them than us, as they expand their cinematic horizons. And you won’t know what works for you until you try watching a broad scope of movies!
      I would recommend they pause if they’re really going to dig into their snacks, or do it as a preamble for the movie. I enjoy hearing about what they’re going to eat, of course!

    • @Zombie_Trooper
      @Zombie_Trooper 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      And there's a lot of great callbacks and references to the genre that went way over their heads.

Recently you have gotten into the habit of talking about some random candy while the movie is still playing and then you'll usually be confused about certain plot points because you were talking or otherwise distracted during key scenes. This was partially filmed outside my house in London. I've never seen anyone be terrified by this film. It's hilarious. I think Hot Fuzz is the superior film though. Definitely see that.

      Hot Fuzz is the more refined of the two. Since I grew up in that area, I can see where they've edited across different locations, which kinda takes you out of the film.
