Hehe nice, those marvel cards you both passed by and checked out I have practically every set there full and complete including the foils especially those Joe Jusko cards, I bought an extremely rare metal tin set complete with the foils, this video was absolutely awesome, I love watching adventures like this cause both my wife and I do the same for comics. Tates is one of the stores I regularly visit. The other one is Phil's Comics. They have great prices and Brian is incredible with his knowledge and service. Highly recommend.
I had a nice collection of Vampirella and Errie magazines but unfortunately most got destroyed. I still have some and will slowly replace what got destroyed. It was so cool to see both of you look at books that I was buying when I was a kid.
Nice magazine pick-ups. I've been all in on graded comic magazines the last few months. Nabbed a few Vampirella's (2, 3, 80), along with some issues of Marvel Preview and Deadly Hands of Kung Fu.
I used to collect Eerie, Creepy, and Vampirella when they first came out. My brother James loved Frank Frazetta and drew and painted 3 of his covers, when he was 12 years old. James went on to win a scholarship to college, when he was 13. Tate's comic store looks really neat and I wish I lived close to it. I always enjoy your videos.
I always enjoy when you take us viewers to new shops - Tates looks very impressive, so much stock and such variety. I'd love to have some of those ECs and the Claremont/Manara X-Women, Milo Manara is one of my favourite European artists. I hope you get to read Wytches, it's an awesome series.

Watch you guys all the time. Great content. It caught me by surprise that you weren't familiar with Omnibuses. When you picked up the Wolverine you seemed not sure what it was. There is a crazy Omnibus collecting community out there. It's the way I am replacing my collection I sold years ago.

When i was living in Broward county, i try sell some of my books a few years back at tates. The junior manager or shot caller offered me price that was a JOKE ! ( FF 48,49,50 - Hulk 180,181, 182..just to name a few. All for less than 25% of market value) i turn around walked out and never been back. Maybe they changed, since they are still in business. I am dam glad i stll have those books in nice AC storage.

This is Bob in Connecticut. Yes, EC were the best Comics ever published.. they had the best riders, and obviously the best artists. Wallywood, Al Williamson, Graham Ingles, Jack Davis. Johnny Craig. I still have in my kitchen one of. Al Williamson’s best pages of art it’s with the dinosaurs it’s from. Weird science 14 page 6 I’m never selling that. Anyway, I still have a few good comic books I was a bartender.. I still have Batman and Superman 1 they are both 5.0 restored the superman has no trimming, moderate professional restoration. Fantastic four 48 9.6 X-Men 1 7.0 amazing Spider-Man 1 6.5 tales of suspense 39 8.5 amazing fantasy 15 6.0 amazing fantasy 15 8.0 restored no trimming
Wow those old comics. Is this due to scarcity? Or could golden age comics be manipulated. There’s a lot of good girl art, WWII historic covers, precode horror , and golden age DC comics that are really picking up. While the silver bronze ages are dropping 30-40% from highs
I like the Vampirella are they magazine sizes and I'm on a DC kick because of the Joker and I'm trying to get the blood line is it I have 1, I think I also bought batman and Joker deadly Duo so far 3,4,6,7 oh and the night terrors with the loker sitting in a cubical on the phone. I would like to get some of the scottie Yong one's as well I like the one with wolverine popping the tire on Charlie's wheel chair as a kid and the one with the spider 🕷 and I think nick is scared of it and the tree house no boys aloud now I like that spider man and Jane one thank you and do more like that and you should of bought the Vampirella ahead of time for her birthday or Christmas 🎄 present 🎁
I wish i was this passionate about something. To just have fun looking at stuff you like, and browsing/shopping for hobby stuff... Im new to comics and despise most superhero stuff so the dominance of marvel/dc is off-putting.
You said in the video you have so many walls, and your buying prints 10:45, i have a suggestion go open plan and knock the walls down, save so much money.....

@@User8vfjhejf May I suggest you look into his work and search for how he's copied, before you send arguments like these? I'm not talking about pose references. I'm talking about one on one copying other artists' panels and basically fotocopying faces of famous people. Just look it up.
