I’ve been ramping up my set buying because I’ve had an itch to build, so I made myself break down and inventory sets I’ve had collecting dust and have had pieces stolen by my cat. These videos are helpful getting me into an organization routine early on.
Great job on getting organized buddy. I'm loving the shelves. The storage room of doom looks alot better. Keep up the awesome work my friend.

I really wish we had basements here in Texas. It would make having a Lego room and Mancave all in one place so much easier.

Excellent progress! My favorite set you have on display is definitely “Welcome to Apocalypseburg.” I hope to get that someday. It’s a great idea to tear down sets that aren’t being seen on display, and to store sets that can’t fit or aren’t proper for the current look. I liked this video, seeing the shelves was pretty neat! I may have to try one of their shelves in the future.
These organizing videos are nice. zHaving Greg go through keeping his collection in order is entertaining.

Feel free to donate all those unwanted sets in your way to me! 😁 Seriously, though. Target has some decent cheap shelving as well. That's what I recently switched to for my Transformers collection. I got them on sale SUPER cheap at back to school time. Like you said, and progress is progress!

An Idea for your wire shelves in the storage area is to add foam board from the dollar store. You could attach it with zip ties. This way you would have a more stable area if you end up storing built sets in there. Good luck!
I bought some type of liner from Target in the past that worked for displayed sets. These days the shelves are mostly for boxes.

Greg, I believe that you have sinned against the Lego Gods. Every other Lego TH-camr always use the IKEA self's. I always knew you were a rebel. Never expected a Friday cleaning vid, more of a weekend thing? Any way Friday or Weekend enjoyed the vid and providing us with the motivation to clean up are Lego's and making are wifes happy. If there is one thing I am not, it's being your typical LEGO TH-camr. This isn't a Friday cleaning thing. This is an every day for the next few months cleaning thing. Then it's onto the next phase: making cool stuff out of LEGO. Glad to have you on the journey!
