Fighting Jolenne but is with MGS Encounter theme And when you defeat her, she spins her sword "You are pretty good, kid!" Then you get a Codec call from Linebeck
Linebeck for the next Smash! He could have loads of awesome moves like: awkward Bellum eye stab, accidental pushing over of statue, straight up lie, and best of all 'sprained' ankle sprint.
Me: *walks in* oh, no one is in, might as well check what was to the left *gets stopped* *first part of the music plays* Me: I️ FUGN LOVE YOU NINTENDO and I️ stayed there for the rest of that day just listening to his tune
Linebeck is the best character in Phantom Hourglass by a mile, and he's one of my favorite Zelda characters, period. He's just so funny that it's damn near impossible to hate him, even when he's being a jerk. This guy needs to make a comeback at some point! At least we know he hasn't been totally forgotten, though, because there's an outfit based on him in Tri Force Heroes!
Phoenix Champion Yep, the December update to Tri Force Heroes added two new outfits, one of which being Linebeck's Outfit. It lets you see the contents of treasure chests before you open them. This is really nice if there's a certain material you want in a stage. As a bonus, it also gives you ten more seconds to work with during time-based challenge missions.
+ClefairyRox He does, he needs to come back alongside other characters from the WW timeline, like Medli and Tetra. It's a shame that we probably won't ever see them again in a canonical zelda game though, given how Windwaker has two sequels, a one of a kind for a zelda game.
When I heard this theme in Spirit Tracks I literally gasped and almost teared up, guess Phantom Hourglass did bash a lot of impact on me. DANG IT CAPTAIN LINEBECK YOU'RE TOO MEMORABLE.
Triple Double0reos64 really? I never heard it. Link from spirit tracks had a higher more cartoony voice. I stopped playing PH cuz of the temple of the ocean king but I beat Wind waker. Honestly, Link's voice in wind waker is a little bit deeper than the link in spirit tracks. Not too much different but to me it's noticeable.
-Link in Spirit Tracks has a higher voice then the Hero of Winds. -They both share the same character model and facial expressions, but Link in Spirit Tracks has slightly larger eyes. -Ironically, even though both Links look the same, they aren't related to each other, making it a complete mystery on how Link (Spirit Tracks) even managed to exist. Link in Spirit Tracks must be a case of the "Identical Stranger" joke.
Nyxael's Hub wellll.... it has been referenced in Wind Waker when Hyrule is in peril, the gods will send down a hero in a green garb to save them. So I’m not exactly sure if (in the adult timeline anyways) it would matter if they were related or not
Linebeck was quite a douchebag, and is unbelievably full of himself. That's why he's one of my favorite characters. I like those kinds of people who are complete jerks, but still help you out and occasionally try to be nice. Other examples would be Groose from Skyward Sword and GlaDOS from Portal (Specifically Portal 2).
Cmon... How can you hate Linebeck?! He's by far, the most memorable character in the series that isn't overly annoying. Play phantom hourglass. He goes from greedy and cowardly, to having some courage and becomes polite. He is a main character in LOZ and no one can change it. Admit it. There IS something about him you like, if not love. Personally, I love everything about him, from the way his attitude changes in phantom hourglass, to his loveable sense of humour.
This music really just tells the story of who linebeck is: most of the song is trumpet fanfare, followed by violin sections; theres also the big drum, occasionally giving a beat. Now, Spoilers here on out, talking about story. You good? He projects himself as high, and noble, daring, dashing, but he's going out several times scared because he doesnt know what to do: saving Jolene is actually an accident on his part. But, the fear peels away near the end, when linebeck stands up for link's life. The fanfare is deserved, just not for what he intended: he wanted to be famous for treasure hunting and adventure, but really was just looking out for the lil guy. Its heartwarming to put together, and thats what the song portrays to me.
Hate to break the 777 comment thing, but I wanna say something; Names character "Linebeck": "What's your name, kid? Linebeck? That's a weird name. The name's Linebeck! I'm a true man of the sea!"
I did something similar in Final Fantasy VII. Red XIII's real name is Nanaki, and after he learns the truth about his father, he proudly calls himself by his real name. If you have Red XIII in your team at a certain point in the game, he will introduce himself like this: "My name is Nanaki, otherwise known as (whatever name you gave him, Usually Red XIII)" but if you name him Nanaki, he's gonna say "My name is Nanaki, otherwise known as Nanaki" without any awkwardness, lol
I would be really cool if the game detected that and made him say something like "Hey you stole my name!" or "What a great name, but not as great as mine"
The legendary treasure hunter Captain Linebeck....oh the nostalgia I actually loved playing Phantom Hourglass it was unique take on the overhead spectrum of Zelda and had some rather unique and cleverly designed puzzles in the game involving the touch screen, it really is a truly unique and epic game for the DS.
i remember the time when i had to close the DS to transfer a mark to my map, me and my brother were stuck on that for a while before trying it... that was so dumb we didn't believe it had worked... what a good time ^^
Linebeck is one of the reasons why I like phantom hourglass over some of the other Zelda games. He's a cool sidekick & says some funny things, like when the boat gets hit sometimes he'll say "Are you proud of yourself, kid?" XD Classic linebeck!
He goes from: -Being a coward, yet full of himself -A somewhat courageous man who, despite danger tries to help Link againts Bellum -The freaking final boss of the game because he became possessed by Bellum -A new man genuinely looking for adventure despite being given the opportunity to become the richest man in history. (Simply wishing his ship back rather than the ammount of gold Ciela expected him to wish) It's of the character with the highest ammount of development. And that's why he's easily in my top 5 characters in the franchise. And he's got a awesome theme (which is remixed into a badass theme when fought as the final boss)
Somewhat. At the end of wind waker they said they'd find a new Hyrule, which where I can only assume spirit tracks takes place. Why not a game featuring Toon Link, Tetra, and Linebeck, taking place a few years later when they first discover the new world. Or at least that's what I had in mind. Feel free to share your ideas.

Spirit tracks had Linebeck III, Linebeck's grandson.
Gukkuiz Geurts Really? Where? I've played through a good majority of the game before my save was corrupted and not once did I hear him get mentioned. The save got corrupted after renewing the fourth section of the map.
He didn't like to fight, so having him as a fighter wouldn't really make much sense. Maybe we can at least have him as an assist trophy, if anything? The Linebeck assist trophy can flood the whole arena, and he drive back and forth in his boat, which damages and knocks back other fighters
I was so surprised and yet so extremely thrilled when I saw his grandson in Spirit Tracks. I must say the apple does not fall far from the tree at all. I even got a little emotional while visiting Linebeck's grave.
I wanna play Phantom Hourglass just so I can see more Linebeck. He's such a self-centered nut, but he's so hilarious, it's hard to hate him. I also like how he legitimately warms up to Link about halfway through the game where he thanks Link via letter.
I honestly nearly cried when Linebeck started to help Link out in the final fight, almost sacrificing himself completely. Wow. The DS games don't get enough credit do they?
I hope for Zelda's 35th Anniversary we get a reimagining of Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks. They honestly great games filled with so much charm and memorable characters, all gated behind a mediocre control scheme that turns off many who could have enjoyed the stories otherwise.
The games could also use the graphical upgrade. The DS didn't take too kindly to 3D. But, so many mechanics would have to be changed to work on anything other than a DS that I can only see it happening if the games are rebuild from the ground up.
Linebeck was by far one of the most incredible Zelda characters. He’s hilarious, he can be an absolute jerk sometimes, AND he has a theme that is literally too good to exist. You even fight him as the final boss for a twist, AND you probably have an emotional breakdown when you see Linebeck III and the original Linebeck’s grave in Spirit tracks. Like if you agree with me :3
I like this music because the music wraps him up perfectly, he looks like a annoying bad guy from the surface, (Like in the beginning) and you grow to trust him, and like him as a friend. (As the music progresses.) Nintendo, you've done it again.
I'm playing ST right now, and I got to the part where you meet Linebecks grandson, and I found the grave last night, that was the saddest part of the game for me so far, after I'm done ST, I am buying Phantom Hourglass again, I missed that game so much when I lost it when I was about 8 years old, it's been 6 years and I finally earned enough money to get a 2ds again, so soon I shall see the legendary sailor yet again, rest in peace Linebeck... Rest in peace.
no it isnt, they share like one tiny sequence of notes, not nearly enough to even be a reference to this theme. gee golly it sure would be nice if people stopped spreading lies about how some songs sound like other songs when they literally dont at all
somehow I lost my the legend of Zelda Phantom Hourglass I paid for 50 € ...now it costs 35€ and I just want to buy it again because Linebeck is so freaking awesome no one can describes his awesomeness
Okay everyone, I see so many comments about how funny he's being a jerk. But what really makes this one of the best TLoZ characters is it's character arc. He starts being a coward and a jerk, but he becomes friendlier and closer, he even shows his guts against Bellum, goddammit
well of course I wouldn't make you do this for free... If you help defeat Bellum I will grant you one wish, how does that sound? HEY! Quit standing around kid!!! The Ocean King NEEDS US!!! SHIP OUT KID! ANCHORS AWAY! I SAID MOVE IT!!!
What a compelling and fruitfull character with an arc that leaves an impact on the franchise. although there is only one person who challenges his reign, and that of course is ME.
He's the only developed character in the entire game. Linebeck is one of the shining redeeming qualities in the 50 feet of bullshit that is Phantom Hourglass.
HamLover17 Phantom Hourglass was great! Everywhere I looked in that game I found something I loved, it is around 7-5 on my personal Top Ten Zelda Games list, and its succesor Spirit Tracks, was also great!
i dont see why anyone would dislike this. if you dont like linebeck, then you should've stopped playing Phantom Hourglass the second that he appeared in the game. just sayin'
ciela: you are, without a doubt, the worst sailor ive ever heard of!
linebeck:... but you have heard of me
ToonLink64 I laughed also...you can't dislike him^^
Yeah boi
Memories
That's it. That's the game.
*Cough* PiratesoftheCaribbean *Cough*
rumor has it that linebeck still has a sprained ankle
What a trooper...
I think he broke it
Also me: he lie!!!
that moment in Spirit Tracks when you visit Linebeck III.
+Vinebomb the Bomberman When I saw it i cried
+Gaming groove guy the Shy guy No you didn't
+Elio Silent let's all have a moment of silence for Linebeck 1.
+Vinebomb the Bomberman and Co. We need more than a moment... We need at least a millenium.
TriSkeet a millennium of silence, then.
Say what you will about Phantom Hourglass, but Linebeck was awesome.
Honestly one of my favorite characters in the zelda universe
I think the whole game is awsome not perfect but awsome. There are things that are anoying but not as anyoing as this panflute of spielt tracks i only played it once and endet it at the sandguy because it was impossible i can't do that
Long story short Phantom hourglas is awsome
His development was pretty damn good, not gonna lie, almost as good as Midna's
He's a fuckin prick and I love him
He's definitely one of the characters with the best character development.
Legend of Linebeck: hiding in a crate.
+Jonathan Doesema Snake's cardboard box anyone?
"'Linebeck, Professional Crate Inspector!' Pretty good, huh?"
Fighting Jolenne but is with MGS Encounter theme
And when you defeat her, she spins her sword
"You are pretty good, kid!"
Then you get a Codec call from Linebeck
The Legend of Linebeck: Phantom Crate.
A real man of the seas deserves a great theme such as this one!
Captain Linebeck? CAPTAIN! HI!
Hi Lineback hows your grand son?
EXCUSE ME, there is only one more deserving of attention, ME, you have nothing on me old man!
I feel like you might be a bit biased, personally.

Linebeck for the next Smash! He could have loads of awesome moves like: awkward Bellum eye stab, accidental pushing over of statue, straight up lie, and best of all 'sprained' ankle sprint.

Adamantanium "sprained ankle" omg I forgot he said that until now ^_^
I had a heart attack when I met his grandson Linebeck III.
Same. I walked in, heard the music and suddenly, OH MY GAWD! IT'S LINEBECK! AHH SWEET
Samuel Lawrence Haha :)
Poseidon Oceanus OMG I started freaking out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Me: I️ FUGN LOVE YOU NINTENDO
and I️ stayed there for the rest of that day just listening to his tune
That sad moment where we won't be getting this glorious man for Hyrule Warriors...
H enryuuki it's worse, Beedles in Breath Of The Wild, but no Linebeck
We got Linebeck Island . . . .
It's really tiny and only has a single tree with a Korok puzzle . . . but at least he's there . . . .
Linebeck may be gone, but he lives on in spirit!
tracks
ahahahahaha
The Trinity: Groose, Midna and Linebeck
remove Midna, add Ezlo.
Tedstur_Y2K stfu remove groose and add ezlo. midna is awesome
ALPITRIX your a Groosen for a bruisen!
Ezlo is the fucking best.
+Danmunite GROOS IS ON THE LOOS!
Playing spirit tracks for the 1st time :
"WHAT!? No linebeck? T.T"
Walking into his grandson's house :
"Dis music.... IT can't be..."
Hobo joe gamplay Also, what makes this guy a great character, is how he's a jerk.
There's always a foil for link, always
Spoiler alert
Linebeck I ist dead and buried in Trading Post

Niko still being alive 100 years later and Linebeck III were both amazing moments in spirit track
H enryuuki I love how the Link

Spirit Tracks and Niko thinks nothing of it.
Triple Double0reos64 really? I never heard it. Link from spirit tracks had a higher more cartoony voice. I stopped playing PH cuz of the temple of the ocean king but I beat Wind waker. +Custom5 I think if there was one thing that the DS games got way better than any other game in the Zelda series, it was side characters.
+Custom5 One of the thing I like about Linebeck is that he loves his ship more than treasure.
Dude I never even got too the second dungeon and I love this man
I could only beat the first dungeon, then my crappy pre-owned copy kicked the bucket, but I loved linebeck's theme
Why does everyone hate him? ;_; I fucking like him, he's awesome :3
Linebeck is such a self-absorbed jerk, that's why he's awesome.
Exactly ! But the fact is that near the end of the game, he's pretty cool and shows that he wants to protect us
Nowwithguns Linebeck is my favorite character!!! Aaaah Linebeck I love you XD
And the scene when he decides to give the major bitchslap I always laugh my ass of at!!😂😂
He's hilarious.
Linebeck and Midna: best companions (and characters) in Zelda.

Linebeck is the Captain Jack Sparrow of Zelda games.
Where has all the rum gone?
all he needs is a jar of dirt
Then again, he _was_ based off of Johnny Depp.
Hate to break the 777 comment thing, but I wanna say something;

Austin Epperson I’ve gotta say you’re always good for a chuckle
The legendary treasure hunter Captain Linebeck....oh the nostalgia
I actually loved playing Phantom Hourglass it was unique take on the overhead spectrum of Zelda and had some rather unique and cleverly designed puzzles in the game involving the touch screen, it really is a truly unique and epic game for the DS.
Hank Hill
Especially since you are probably playing the game in public.
Hank Hill I just whispered into the mic "Hey, listen" and with the Salvage Arm part, I just snapped my fingers, the blowing parts though...
i remember the time when i had to close the DS to transfer a mark to my map, me and my brother were stuck on that for a while before trying it... that was so dumb we didn't believe it had worked... what a good time ^^
A selfish, money-grubbing sea captain.

I agree whole heartedly. Linebeck is amazing
in zelda spirit tracks there s linebeck III and the grave of linebeck ;-;
We need more of the linebeck family in zelda games he should be in all of them
+HiiPER MaaDMaan who knows, if we appeal enough to Nintendo maybe they'll put his lineage into the new game :P
+NavyBlueNuts Linebeck in Zelda Wii u !

Johnny depp should play Beck if Zelda movie ever happened
Haha, yeah, if only...
Brown Wolf careful what you wish for, video game movies are never something to look forward to remember the Mario Brothers movie?
Triple Double0reos64 "What's you're name? Mario. Mario who? Mario Mario."
If they did make a Zelda movie, it would probably be OoT or BotW. Maybe even the original.
Brown Wolf
I remember watching one a long time ago
Pretty sure it was one based off of OoT tho
Linebeck is one of the reasons why I like phantom hourglass over some of the other Zelda games. He's a cool sidekick & says some funny things, like when the boat gets hit sometimes he'll say "Are you proud of yourself, kid?" XD Classic linebeck!
That moment that i met his grandson in spirit tracks Beautifal :')
That moment when you realize Linebeck is dead in ST. :(
DarkZelda1 yeah, pretty much.,

Linebeck for Hyrule Warriors! I can think of ways he would work!
Oh i also have ideas! >:) FINAL SMASH = Bellumbeck! or Mighty sea overload!
Sounds like a cool idea.
***** yeah, he should wield the phantom sword and be assisted by the spirits of power, wisdom, and courage.
The captain jack sparrow of legend of zelda. Favourite character just wish he appeared In other games.
His grandson appears in spirit tracks.

We're only saying it, because it's true!
Yeah!,Phantom Hourglass was my first Zelda and Linebeck and I laught a lot whith him!
LINE BECK: THE TRUE HERO OF.... Crates?
Line beck is the best side hero by a mile
Linebeck whoops
thx
He goes from:
-Being a coward, yet full of himself
-A somewhat courageous man who, despite danger tries to help Link againts Bellum
-The freaking final boss of the game because he became possessed by Bellum
-A new man genuinely looking for adventure despite being given the opportunity to become the richest man in history. (Simply wishing his ship back rather than the ammount of gold Ciela expected him to wish)
It's of the character with the highest ammount of development. And that's why he's easily in my top 5 characters in the franchise.
And he's got a awesome theme (which is remixed into a badass theme when fought as the final boss)
YOU CAN PRACTICALLY _FEEL_ THE EGO
There needs to be a console game featuring toon link, tetra, and linebeck. I don't cafe what anyone says, Linebeck is awesome.
So you want Phantom Hourglass with a bigger role for Tetra?
He runs the shop where you can buy train parts.
The best scene in any Zelda game is when the Ocean King offers Linebeck a wish.
+James Dear (Coolco10) ANCHORS AWAY! I SAID MOVE IT!
+Pokémaniac Guquiz i need the song from when that happens... It's this song but louder and more instruments!

+Roope Ohtonen
he would shake too much, it's against his character.
he only brags and talks big lol
***** and runs off with your stuff lol
His super move would be a huge rupee throw and then he's going to hide in his box while the female pirate kills all of the players
I just love your ideas!
He didn't like to fight, so having him as a fighter wouldn't really make much sense. Maybe we can at least have him as an assist trophy, if anything? The Linebeck assist trophy can flood the whole arena, and he drive back and forth in his boat, which damages and knocks back other fighters

I honestly nearly cried when Linebeck started to help Link out in the final fight, almost sacrificing himself completely. Wow. The DS games don't get enough credit do they?
Spirit Tracks dosest get NEAR enough credit. But Phantom Hourglass deserves every bit of hate that it gets
You should check out the manga of Ph. Linebeck gets alot of development in there. Warning though: Shit gets pretty dark in the last few chapters
Jack and linebeck fighting side by side, more like jack doing all the work and lineback just relaxing yelling: Got the treasure already!?
One of my favorite Zelda characters! He's so f*cking cool! xD
His theme is also amazing!
#LinebeckForSmashBros
YES #LinebeckForSmashBros
Someday guys.........

Linebeck is the best side in the Zelda universe :D
Yeah. Well, Linebeck AND Midna.
+TwilightPrincessLoverandMaster NO linebeck for days XD
Jamie Hyland I agree. I love Linebeck, he's awesome. Second favorite partner. Behind Midna.
The legend of Linebeck: A Linebeck to the Bellum
One day people will be able to appreciate the best Zelda game and the best companion. It will just take time.
Eh, it's not the best Zelda game (coughTempleoftheOceanKingcough) but it is definitely one of my favourites.
I wouldn't say it was the best game but it was a good game and it gave us Linebeck so it has a special place.
Tomsk Bromley whats that supposed to meam? the TOTOK is the best temple in all of zelda history!
Don't forget Legend of Linebeck: Linebeck Hides in a Crate

You cannot change my mind

You even fight him as the final boss for a twist, AND you probably have an emotional breakdown when you see Linebeck III and the original Linebeck’s grave in Spirit tracks.
Like if you agree with me :3
If there was ever a character that would make the Zelda series 3000 times more awesome, it was Linebeck
They REALLY need to bring Linececk back in Zelda wiiU
Yes
linececk...
i dont care if its stuck in my head ITS AWESOME
Top 5 zelda character material right here.
In ST when I walked into his house and heard his theme I literally flipped my fucking shit
You: *Goes into house first time and sees nothing* Okay... *wanders a bit* Linebeck: *appears and theme plays* You: O_o
hes funny, glad his grandson (Who happens to have the same personality just different professions) made an apperence in LOZ ST
Defintely one of the best developed characters in the series
I like this music because the music wraps him up perfectly, he looks like a annoying bad guy from the surface, (Like in the beginning) and you grow to trust him, and like him as a friend. (As the music progresses.)
Nintendo, you've done it again.
You know what we need? A game that brings Linebeck and Groose together.
The Zekenator Oh no. . . XD
This is what you get if you cross Jack Sparrow with Mr. Krabs.
La pluie de tes sarcasmes glisse sur la toile cirée de mon indifférence. Sacré Linebeck !
Voyez, ça c'est ce qu'on appelle la classe! pas de la coquetterie
CAPTAIN Linebeck.
This glorious man is the best side hero in all of the Zelda franchise
I'm playing ST right now, and I got to the part where you meet Linebecks grandson, and I found the grave last night, that was the saddest part of the game for me so far, after I'm done ST, I am buying Phantom Hourglass again, I missed that game so much when I lost it when I was about 8 years old, it's been 6 years and I finally earned enough money to get a 2ds again, so soon I shall see the legendary sailor yet again, rest in peace Linebeck... Rest in peace.
Holy crap sooooo many memories from when I was 7!
*Cries*
I hope Linebeck comes back someday in a later Zelda game. :)
@Excalibur5k LOL, yeah! If there will ever be a movie of Phantom Hourglass, Johnny Depp just HAS to play Linebeck!
This song need to be in SSB4
Linebeck taught Snake from metal gear how to hide in over sized wooden containers.
Guys, the spirit tracks theme when you are on the train is a remake of this theme. I feel wrong now.
Mother of god!?!?
Holy Goddesses of Hyrule! Seriously?!
no way
no it isnt, they share like one tiny sequence of notes, not nearly enough to even be a reference to this theme. gee golly it sure would be nice if people stopped spreading lies about how some songs sound like other songs when they literally dont at all
Linebeck's married,TO THE SEA!
phantom hourglass>windwaker
i played phantom hourglass so much i could hear the themes in my dreams as a kid.
Neulich war ich mit meiner Freundin im Bett :D da wollte sie 'kuscheln' und ich fang einfach an diese Theme zu singen :D way to epic
I grew up with this game.
Me too
this song just makes me so damn happy, i dont know why
Because we all love Linebeck ;D
The moment when you find his grandson and come across his grave...
somehow I lost my the legend of Zelda Phantom Hourglass I paid for 50 € ...now it costs 35€ and I just want to buy it again because Linebeck is so freaking awesome no one can describes his awesomeness
Linebeck is one of the best Zelda characters, such as Navi, Impa and me~
You mean my grandma, Tetra.
Toon Zelda I love Tetra :3
Hai toon zelda it's me sorry u didn't make it to smash again but O voted you and toon ganon on the smash ballot if it's any consolation :D
* I voted you
Nah wind waker toon zelda
that moment when you get the final material for the linebeck costume in triforce heroes
Why Linebeck sucks:
Welp, I've got nothing!
Linebeck is so awesome he doesnt need feet
Long live to the King ! Wait, that's not a king...
Now I must fight the urge to play this again xD
Don't fight it
I think he'll be in Hyrule Warriors for the Phantom Hourglass/Spirit Tracks DLC
It would be so great ^^
well he wasn't, but it would have been awesome! Though King Daphnes did get a costume referencing him.
Linebeck should have a own game. Like Tingle. He's my favorite character. but Midna is also nice.
I like your account name.
Phantom Hourglass should definitely be renamed Link and Linebeck's Excellent Adventure.
Linebeck for smash bros would be perfect!
One of the best zelda characters
SPOILERS
He is the final boss.
***** It is still him.
BraKen -Autumn Roy- It DID say "Spoilers".
BraKen -Autumn Roy- I made sure that you had to click "Read more" to see it.Oh wait. Mobile doesn't have that, does it? Blame TH-cam.
Joshua Croteau NOOOO IM AN IDIOT XD
One of my favorite characters in the franchise! I got so excited like a 12 year old when I saw they made an Easter egg of him in Zelda BOTW!
speed to 1.25
thank me later.
or if you like it real fast, put it to 1.5!
I don't like nightcore Linebeck though
What a compelling and fruitfull character with an arc that leaves an impact on the franchise. although there is only one person who challenges his reign, and that of course is ME.
This is the only good thing about linebeck
*****
and the fact that he can pay 200 rupees to link just because he defeated jolene
GCDarkGGG
And don't forget his character development!
I think he was one of the best developed characters in any Zelda game. I loved it.
He's the only developed character in the entire game. Linebeck is one of the shining redeeming qualities in the 50 feet of bullshit that is Phantom Hourglass.
HamLover17 Phantom Hourglass was great! Everywhere I looked in that game I found something I loved, it is around 7-5 on my personal Top Ten Zelda Games list, and its succesor Spirit Tracks, was also great!
i dont see why anyone would dislike this. if you dont like linebeck, then you should've stopped playing Phantom Hourglass the second that he appeared in the game. just sayin'
Rip in pirate
Linebeck
A glorious traveler/con artist
You will not be forgotten
