Emerald cut is literally the best hands down. I would never change mine for the world. I wouldn’t say no if hubby upgrades me to a 4ct though. But I am very pleased with my 2ct.
I have small to medium size fingers that are kind of longer with naturally square nail shape. So emerald cut looks amazing on my hand and because my fingers aren't that big, 1.5-2ct looks perfect on me.
Hey Bonnie, love your channel and subject matter, however, in your intro you mention, “all things diamond”. As a guy who likes diamonds, I have noticed that you don’t showcase any male settings and diamonds. I married my wife Oct 1992 and was introduced to a shop in the SF Jewelry Mart. Every 10 years I buy diamond jewelry for each of my 3 stepdaughters and of course myself (my wife loves horses and prefers only select jewelry). Most recently I got each of the girls a set of 1.8 ct, F, SI1 GIA 3x Ex earrings. After seeing those, my wife mentioned new hoops so I surprised her with a new set in Rose gold. Of course I needed to replace my lost diamond in my wedding ring with a 1.0 ct, F, FL, GIA 3x Ex and although I could have gotten a lesser diamond because of the setting, I got what I wanted. My story though is of many years of trail and error and of course cost. But, I have met a lot of guys who also enjoy diamonds which maybe you could address some of our concerns and issues. Take care!
I love an emerald cut- but it needs perfect color and clarity. You can get a larger stone in a different cut for less $$$. If money were no object, I would definitely have gotten that.
I always want to be different, and my dream stone has always been the emerald cut. Always wanted one, but, when I got married the first time, there wasn't any emerald cut diamond rings to be had, so, I went with the next best thing, a marquis cut diamond engagement ring. When I got married a second time, I wanted an emerald cut diamond ring, but the stones were so bloody expensive, it was out of our price range, and yet, I hear time and time again that emerald cuts are the cheapest cut stone to buy, but, sorry, beg to differ. My husband died, I'm dating again, we are talking marriage, whether it happens or not we shall see, but I told him I wanted an emerald cut. Hopefully if the relationship goes great and we get engaged, I will finally have the emerald cut engagement ring of my dreams. And I was in junior high when I decided I wanted an emerald cut engagement ring, so, please don't say one has to be old to want an emerald cut engagement ring. LOL
Thanks for sharing your story. We would love to help you finally get the emerald cut engagement ring of your dreams! Please send an inquiry to contact@bybonniejewelry.com
Hello!! Bonnie I love your videos.... One question, what do you mean that the emerald cut requires more maintenance? With that hair, makeup, oil, do you mean that it gets dirty and grease sticks to it? something wrong? Or does it just have to be cleaned constantly? Would it be the same care with an emerald cut moisanite? I would love for you to answer me... that would be great!!! I would always appreciate it!!!
My original engagement ring is a beautiful emerald cut. Over the years, the bottom of the band has thinned and my stone won't stay on top. I'd like to reset my ring to something else. What suggestions do you have?
my ering and wedding band are all ovals, but i wanted emerald cut stones so badly, i got another band made with just emerald cut stones for my right hand lol
@@ByBonnieJewelrythank u for the reply. My my size is 4.5 and I have short thin fingers. I’m trying to figure out what ratio would be ideal for my hands. I’m nervous bc I don’t want to look too long for my short fingers 😂 but I like the emerald shape and I’m giving my bf ideas

Emerald cuts are so classy. I love your videos Bonnie!! ❤️
I got an emerald cut first and loved it but missed the sparkle. So got a round brilliant too. Both are beautiful in different ways.
I love my emerald-cut diamond ring! Always has been my favorite!
Hi Bonnie, is there anyways you can make a video on culet length and how it affects the look of an emerald cut diamond? Thank you!! Love your videos 🤍
Love my emerald with halo and pave. Gives the flash and sparkle.

I love the Radiant cut; I'm not a fan of the Emerald cut (or step cuts in general), but once again, you created a beautiful ring all around!
I love an emerald cut and this ring is gorgeous! If I were wealthy I would have one of all the shapes. Why limit yourself?

Thank you for all the video’s bonny
I am looking for a 3-4 carat emerald cut for my GF

I have loved the emerald cut for the longest time. I don't like the radiant cut so much. It's pretty though!
I have a large emerald solitaire and would love ideas for a wedding band but something special, not just an eternity band. Any ideas?
Hi Cassiqui, we'll be creating some content to give you some ideas and hopefully inspiration on what you can pair with your Emerald Solitaire!
