My daughters LOVE this game. Played it 4 times in a row when we first got it.
Are you no longer doing the seal of approval/excellence graphic at the end? I noticed that on this and another recent review the swirling seal graphic is gone.
I think because this is a new rating...they do seals of approval and excellence and kids seal of approval....but this was higher.
I wish that when you guys reviewed kids games that you mentioned the age range.
What age range will this appeal to? BGG is saying 4+. Worried it might be too simple for my 9 year old.
Carter B my daughter is 4 and loves it. I do think 9 is probably too old at least early on. We are just up to envelope 3 so maybe further on it would be better for older kids.
This is a super little puzzle game. Even for a quick little solo game. I bought it a couple of years ago then moved on to bigger games. But recently came back to it for a light filler game. Plays nice once you open all envelopes. And it can be as difficult as you want it to be. I've played many of the big names in solo games.. And I lost playing this yesterday. But it was fun and light. When you bring in the special actions of the zombies it really mixes things up. I've seen much bigger games with less game play than this little game. For a fun little puzzle game I recommend it .
It seems like it’s not really a legacy game, except for stickering the win track? Are there actual legacy elements in the game?
Our "official" way to describe it is "legacy inspired" game. It is a game that evolves.
You still open enveloppes (13 of them), but you don't destroy anything, you can still play after the end, you can even ignore some rules you discovered.

1- Eliminating zombies is done after moving. So essentially you'll stay where you are (not move) when you want to eliminate zombies already in your room.
2- Because there is no door between these 2 rooms.
Cant find an answer to my question, it doesnt seem to say anywhere what you do if you roll a color with already 3 zombies in that room. Seems like something that should be explained in the rules after the 3 zombies rule. Thx!

I get the spoiler part but I'm here just to see if my kids will like it and so I'd like to know about the envelopes. On the surface it seems too simple for me but maybe if I knew that it would make a difference since I've seen good reviews for it.
I think with this one it’s not about challenging yourself. It’s about playing a game for the kids that can be a gateway for them into other things. You’ll just have to sort of be in it for the kids.
@@ShamGod33 But not all kids are into all games and I have a pretty good idea of what they like. It sucks to waste money on a $30 game that has minimal resale value when you could’ve spent it on something they would actually love.
@@OkelloDunkleyDSLRWorkshops Well for sure, if you don't think they'll like it, then I would probably not get it. It seemed like your initial post was about the game not being challenging for you so I was just saying that sometimes I play games with my son that I don't find challenging/engaging but I do it for him. Kid just started playing Settlers of Catan with us. And loves the Minecraft card game. Is this too simple for him?
Late to the party, but if they have a solid grasp of Catan, this will likely be too simple for them.
We got Zombie Teen and he loves it.

Hi. Is this game good for a 13 year old please? Most reviews mention younger children enjoying the game so I was wondering if it would be too childish/boring/easy for age 13? Thanks!

This is probably too simplistic but take a look at Zombicide Black Plague. That's a fun game with more going on but not too much.

this is not a legacy game as there is no choice of what to do or not it is an evolving game like the box say. it is like playing a video game of the early 80's where the game is basically almost the same bit it gets more and more difficult to beat. the kid look of the artwork is misleading as the challenge grows after every game and it is very easy to lose.
meh...can't see what's the hype about this game, even from a kid's perspective. Roll dice, move, repeat.
