I do not have a "pre" reading for my 2018 Base model Subaru Forester, but my after, with a decible meter, at 65mph highway speeds, is 52dB. It ABSOLUTELY makes a NOTICEABLE difference. The sound insulating foam also acts as a thermal insulator, keeping your AC in the car longer, and keeping the heat OUT of your car longer. It is the single best thing I have done to my car. 🤓
