Once I was in the very far north of Turkey with very low petrol tank driving to what supposed to be the closest petrol station, when I got to the station, it was closed, a local lady who luckily spoke English guided me by driving ahead of me to another petrol station for at least 30 minutes , she only left me when she made sure that I got the petrol - She did not accept any money, I would not ever forget this kindness .
Yes Max ,I’ve also experienced similar kindness from people in Turkey who went in the opposite direction to where they were originally going just to guide and help me
I've had very similar experience from people in Yorkshire England,Dublin Ireland and Scotland. The only difference is that the weather in the British Isles is absolutely depressing depressing depressing.

Magic words-paperwork! Latvia opened up to flights from Turkey this week so I plan to travel from the USA to Latvia through Istanbul next month. I bought a ticket on Turkish Airlines last March and this is the first opportunity to fly there. There are currently no vaccine passports and I will be required to get a negative pcr test(nucleic acid) to get into both Turkey and Latvia.
I'm so glad things are going well, I hope the same will happen for Trudy 🙏🏻 I lived in Akyaka for 1 year in 96, and as I go south, I stop by, it's in the most special part of my heart ❤️ Mugla is a very beautiful city, I hope you will have a chance to visit more 😍

Oh the bureaucratic roller coaster I know from experience it can be very worrying all you need to do is get in contact with the Turkish Tourist Board I think they will get you all the permits you need ha ha... You have done such a fantastic job marketing Turkey for them..

Our friends in Dalyan have been getting vaccinations this week so here's hoping you can get yours soon.The chimneys on the houses around the hotel where we stay have those chimneys and a lovely little owl sits in there watching the world go bye. We like to pay for a dog to be neutered when we visit Dalyan.
Oh that is great Wendy .. and it is the best way to help Community animals for sure ... although if you call the authorities .. they will do it for free. There is a tick problem at the moment so giving all the dogs tick treatment is good too 💐 bring some frontline dog treatment over in your suitcase LOL - woo hoo xx
4:43 my dad is a pharmacist and these cologne bottles made me so emotional. I remember my dad had yellow and brown colognes in these bottles (limon and tobacco colognes) Back then pharmacies were selling lots of things including colognes and cosmetics but when big stores opened in the beginning of 2000s, people are buying their cosmetics from these stores. It feels nostalgic to see them 😬

Hi - for us it is Visas ... we would need to get a visa for each country and we would need to return home to the UK for each one before we enter ... some visas can not be got more than 45 days before. you enter ... it is never as simple as you thing :( but we do hope to go to all of those countries ... as our motto has been to visit every country before we die !! M

As far as I understand (which is far from satisfactory when it comes to figuring out Turkey), it seems that a foreign vehicle needs to leave Turkey for minimum six months after it's spent two years within the country. It will be interesting to find out how it goes for you. I'm following closely because I often am in a similar situation. Best of luck guys! :D

Much loves from Amsterdam. My parents are originally from Konya.....one of the most conservative city's in turkey (according to the media) but you will be amazed about how modern and nice konya is.....🇹🇷
And if you decide to visit konya these are the places you should visit: 1- mevlana (the whirling dervishes) 2- meram bağları 3- sille 4- kelebekler vadisi ( biggest butterfly park in Europe) 5- and much more

Much loves from Amsterdam. My parents are originally from Konya.....one of the most conservative city's in turkey (according to the media) but you will be amazed about how modern and nice konya is.....🇹🇷

@fedai crazy as a person who travelled a lot in Europe , i can tell you : turkey has a lot work to do ,but turkey is still much cleaner ,compared to the most countries in Europe
@@Mr-vy2lb it is a problem but there are over 15 million citizens in Istanbul.....compared to many other countries Turkey is a nice and safe , hygienic country......
