6:43 extra lane at the traffic lights that is most annoying thing in Turkey for me, I guess. It is funny if you experienced this during a holiday but daily commuting becomes unbearable due to this smart(!) people who created extra lane! And at 8:06 Chriss says: shhh we’re in Turkey just go slowly(backwards) ( Marianne knows she should go ahead and turn back but Chriss adapted soo nicely to Turkey and He has fun after a little naughtiness. Hi guys. What you saw in the car park is a "Serender". It's basically a wooden structure to store food items. Here is a passage I just copied and pasted from google translate. Cheers. . . . . . . . . "Serender is an architectural structure that is usually seen in rural areas, unique to the Central and Eastern Black Sea Region. The structure is a kind of room resting on four pillars. It is definitely located outside the house, there is absolutely no passage or bridge between the house and the serender. Its height from the ground is about 2-7 meters. It is usually designed in a square shape. It is estimated that the serender has been used in the region for more than a century. No material other than wood is used in its construction. The top of the structure is covered with sheet metal or flat chipped or cut boards called "harduma" to prevent water penetration. However, 20-30 cm on the sides. tall, there are grids one and a half two inches wide. The purpose of these grills is to create an air cycle inside the serender. They are generally made for the purpose of storing food and performing the drying process of corn. Being high from the ground ensures that the products are protected from pests and wild animals. The building is climbed and descended with a mobile ladder, usually made of acacia wood. Rats and various insects are prevented from reaching the building by covering these poles by hammering tin or placing four wooden wheels. Chris and Maryanne have you ever been to that place above the clouds in the black sea region? I think it's somewhere in the trabzon/giresun area. I'm not sure though. I've seen some tourists drinking tea at restaurant on mountain and looking down on clouds. Others walking in the clouds. Breath-taking scenery!

Go for it! Hi spend about £900 a month but this is not including accommodation costs as we live in Trudy and we also have lots of Social media costs ... and obviously we only eat out on filming days (which is two or 3 meals a week) xx
If you can afford a LifePo4 battery you can use up to 80% of its capacity compared to 30% AGM battery, a good size for you would be a 100ah-105ah which would be equivalent 220ah AGM battery. Lifepo4 battery is 1/3 of the weight of a AGM battery of equivalent size.
that dirt road at samsun which I use everyday for going work made me laugh. not so much people using that road and now they work on it. second time you guys passing samsun and not travel. it is the capital of pide and menemen which you like but just passed and went ünye that made me sad.
Agreed - we really much visit Samsun in full ... we will be back one day - we have committed to visiting Turkey every year with the turtle centre - so we promise to be back again !

@@TREADtheglobe unfortunately. Also there is construction problem, somebody has to stop to build apartments very close to rivers. The old way of building homes is better than modern ones.
I'm not sure how far behind you're editing and releasing the videos but if this was close, it seems that you were around the area during the rain storms & floods that hit the middle and eastern sections of Black Sea coast. I hope you weren't affected badly. I also wish you could somehow included the dates in your videos, so we'd know when exactly the footage took place, not only for checking for your safety like in this flood situation but also in general to understand the traveling aspects of a place like theh weather, maybe suggesting you places for short-windowed or daily events if possible, or simply to know what time a specific thing happened.

If you don't want your flights canceled just buy from Turkish airlines as they never cancel flights but ofc they are more expensive.

Go for it! Hi spend about £900 a month but this is not including accommodation costs as we live in Trudy and we also have lots of Social media costs ... and obviously we only eat out on filming days (which is two or 3 meals a week) xx
If you can afford a LifePo4 battery you can use up to 80% of its capacity compared to 30% AGM battery, a good size for you would be a 100ah-105ah which would be equivalent 220ah AGM battery. Lifepo4 battery is 1/3 of the weight of a AGM battery of equivalent size.

that dirt road at samsun which I use everyday for going work made me laugh. not so much people using that road and now they work on it. second time you guys passing samsun and not travel. it is the capital of pide and menemen which you like but just passed and went ünye that made me sad.
Agreed - we really much visit Samsun in full ... we will be back one day - we have committed to visiting Turkey every year with the turtle centre - so we promise to be back again !

I'm not sure how far behind you're editing and releasing the videos but if this was close, it seems that you were around the area during the rain storms & floods that hit the middle and eastern sections of Black Sea coast. I hope you weren't affected badly.
I also wish you could somehow included the dates in your videos, so we'd know when exactly the footage took place, not only for checking for your safety like in this flood situation but also in general to understand the traveling aspects of a place like theh weather, maybe suggesting you places for short-windowed or daily events if possible, or simply to know what time a specific thing happened.
