If you head down the West Coast, I can recommend a small village called Sirence near İzmir. Also some amazing coastal villages along that route. If you need any ideas just let me know. Have fun, by the way, I think the country is on full lockdown this weekend. It maybe worth checking.

Yes they are! and there were tears shed .... i just didn't think everyone wanted to see me cry .... we are lucky as one of our family friends works with this charity and we are getting updates - she is doing great !! and she is safe ... and that for us is ALL that matters xx leaving her in a van whilst we went out filming etc would be so cruel ...

Hi Sonja - the lady that has just joined our TRIBE is actually the lady who volunteers and works with the cat charity in Istanbul - so she has been giving me updates LOL - I will even try and pop in and see her when we go back to Istanbul - but she is super relaxed and being looked after well xx 😻💜💐

It was really sad to go - we are pleased for Korona - the cats and dogs in the community as we have said before are looked after - but Korona enjoyed being inside - so it seemed the right thing to do - we can't keep her as we travel and we would have to leave her in the van in the heat - whilst we went out filming ... but a good end for all 😻💐👏

There are antient cities that you can visit through the south. In Izmir(Selçuk) and Antalya.And there are lots of caves that you can visit in Antalya as well.
You guys are so sweet with Corona, cats are always more friendly when they're pregnant though I think, they need to be cared for. We met our cat when she had just had kittens. Watch out for the chillies if you come to Thailand, they are all hot, especially the smaller ones. If you want not spicy ask for "mai peht" or "Mai sai prik" which is don't put chilli and you should be ok.
@@TREADtheglobe They're really hot in Thailand, don't believe anyone that says they're not, it's very easy to get burning lips! But you can also get some nice non spicy food.
Watch out for the dogs here too, as they do run in packs and may have rabies. Hope you have your rabies shots. People do feed them too, but there can be large numbers as they are generally unneutered.
@@TREADtheglobe We befriended two stray dogs in Spain a few years ago, giving them water and food, when we left they chased us along the road, it was so upsetting, we still think about them now. X

Ul love cappadocia well normally as the balloons are up everyday . Plus the caves and cave hotel is really nice . Cats have a way of making non cat lovers . Cat lovers . They have many ways lol hope u have many lovely days months years i personally love turkey and the people the cats etc ankara is nice plus a few other cities towns and villages lots to see and do . Im glad corona will be safe and looked after in her new home she is a lovely cat just like a wee white tiger as u say pls take care stay safe . Xc ian .

Great that you're out of the car park- Well it's your choice about Corona, but a lot of people all over the world travel with pets- cats too and even some they've picked up along the way and got al the right papers by the wets. One problem with Corona would be the new places, will she stay close to you or roam around and it might be tricky to get her to walk in a leash. But others have trained their cats to do so too- I know that I'm a huge cat person and I would have found a solution.
Hi G Man - the one issue with Korona is we are travel bloggers and last year we spent 5 months in hostels in Central America ... and this will happen again in the future ... we chose this life as our children had left home and our pets had past on ... and we had no responsibilities ... but she is safe and we get updates LOL - and will no doubt pop in for an catch up before we go xx Thank you xx
We have a burning question about Internet availability. We need to buy prepaid data simcards in every country we pass. This is rather expensive and a time consuming search for the right shops. How do you manage to be online everywere??? Lots of succes
Hi - if we are not using our local sim cards we also have a booster system that we buy a coffee and get the password from the hotel / coffee shop or / restaurant and then we can tap into a free network from nearby - it is shown in the video we did in Stavros in Greece. I hope this helps - SIM cards are one of the most expensive outlays we have .... and it was more than we originally budgeted for.

So far viewed the spanish vlogs and austrian ones, as have a friend who has moved to Austria over a year ago. I used to own a mk1 transit campervan, used mainly for camping at lakes when fishing and used to own a motorbike, which travelled twice to Spain in. Hi Peri - it should be there now xx The other cats were very feral and happy to live outside - but Korona was definitely wanting to stay - it was a hard decision but we are happy it worked out for her xx

Great that you're out of the car park- Well it's your choice about Corona, but a lot of people all over the world travel with pets- cats too and even some they've picked up along the way and got al the right papers by the wets. One problem with Corona would be the new places, will she stay close to you or roam around and it might be tricky to get her to walk in a leash. But others have trained their cats to do so too- I know that I'm a huge cat person and I would have found a solution.
Hi G Man - the one issue with Korona is we are travel bloggers and last year we spent 5 months in hostels in Central America ... and this will happen again in the future ... we chose this life as our children had left home and our pets had past on ... and we had no responsibilities ... but she is safe and we get updates LOL - and will no doubt pop in for an catch up before we go xx Thank you xx
We have a burning question about Internet availability. We need to buy prepaid data simcards in every country we pass. This is rather expensive and a time consuming search for the right shops. How do you manage to be online everywere???

Hi - if we are not using our local sim cards we also have a booster system that we buy a coffee and get the password from the hotel / coffee shop or / restaurant and then we can tap into a free network from nearby - it is shown in the video we did in Stavros in Greece. I hope this helps - SIM cards are one of the most expensive outlays we have .... and it was more than we originally budgeted for.

Have enjoyed all the vlogs i've seen, interesting to see the way of life in different countries and how to live in a campervan. So far viewed the spanish vlogs and austrian ones, as have a friend who has moved to Austria over a year ago. I used to own a mk1 transit campervan, used mainly for camping at lakes when fishing and used to own a motorbike, which travelled twice to Spain in.
