Wow this is so much better than the last video. You can tell the designer of this house is really detailed orientated and not only endeavors to fulfill the brief of her client but also the structural requisites. There's just enough color to make the house warm and inviting. It's playful but sophisticated, modern but gives an oh so gentle nod to a bygone era.
Beautiful yet memorable pre-war style of the 1930's the furniture reminds me of my grandparents house when I was a kid, memories of long ago... pristine design absolutely love the white colors and contours.
So it has to be WHITE, to be modern. Is that it? Help me to understand why EVERYTHING, has to be white and off white these days. EVERYTHING! Help me to understand this, because I absolutely, hate it, myself. Out.

Hi Grace, Very Elegant with a Mixed Graceful Flow and Individual Focus Points that stand out on their own while also unifying the room together! Excellent job of creating a "Current & Comfy" environment with a Pre-War Décor! Absolutely love the Cut Glass Tile Chandelier in the foyer!!! Cheers!!! GGG
Love this. Restraint... hinting... my sort of style aesthetic. Love pre-war influences. Have attempted the same eclectic 30's / 40's feel as I used to get in an Aunt's pre-war home but with heavier furniture.
To be Totally Frank as was declared the "bones" are very good hence no one could really make a mistake with the decoration of the drawing room and foyer. Even bean bags and a futon couch would look good in there.
Yes, the "bones" are there but what an utterly boring, typically "tasteful" design - so uptight, so meh! So much lively, fun yet still elegant design components could have been infused into the room. It looked like they were so afraid of making a mistake - good grief, it's only a living room.
It is impressive that she turned a plain space into a stylish well-filled room but still have very clean feeling. We bought a house in St. Louis MO USA two years ago and still couldn’t find a designer that can bring us a dream house. We tried three designers from cheap to expensive but we only managed to get some basic furnitures. The house still have many spaces need to improve. I don’t know what went wrong? Any advice on how to find and how to talk to a designer?
Fabulous compilation-- though 2 thoughts, -- fireplace chairs are scaled too large for the sofa and the space. And, the foyer dresser is too bulky for its statement .
Loving the windows here. We are a high-end commercial and residential treatment company based in Manhattan. We would love to work with you on projects if you or any of clients are looking to add window treatments for privacy, design, and more.
0.19 Très bel atmosphère de sérénité 0.28 Vu comme ça, encore plus beau. Vraiment très attractif; on aimerait bien prendre place. Et superbe jusque dans chaque détail, comme il est montré dans la suite de la vidéo. Merci
Videos like these make you hate pottery barn, crate & barrel, Wayfair and basically 98 percent of the furniture around because it is just mass produced and trendy. Too bad I’m not rich 😔
This is the work of a brilliant Interior designer, the room is transformed ❤️🇬🇧

I love pre-war home decor so this room and entry way screams to me.
How classy is this ?!!! Love it !! Almost English elegance, I love it !!!!!!
This designer has real talent.
I am obsessed with the lamps on either side of the fireplace, everything is so pretty!
Symmetrical
Beautiful and not a “gray” shade around, thank god. Unusual and different...love it.
I hear you on the grey.
I still agree with my comments from five years ago, and again three years ago. This room is so elegant and quietly glamorous.
This was in 2016? This home's beautiful design is truly timeless.
I agree completely!
@@rneustel388 We need to see more work from this designer. She has a great eye.
The Asian framed screens are stunning and hold the room well.
This designer is so well-spoken, I'm continually impressed.
Stunning. Every element, every corner. And I'm watching this in 2021. Timeless and elegant.
A traditional color and style but so love the furniture that blends with the color.

Amazingly beautiful even for a clean line lover like me! Wow!
Love it. Tasteful and elegant. I watched this video 3 times.
It's absolutely beautiful. It has the right balance and still looks modern 💗

Understated elegance that is traditional. Just beautiful...
❤ Classic, stunning and comfortable. What better than that!!
Beautifully ' put together' ambience with a classy ' pre war' vibe to it...
Love the dreamy color pallet. Beautiful room.

Perfection! Love the Black & White Checkered board entrance
I’m enjoying this video again of such a lovely space. It’s just pure class and restraint without being in any way minimalist.
Well done Grace Castaneda!👌🖐️
I am obsessed with the light, creamy blue accent chairs with wooden edge. Can I be i formed the place I possibly purchase them?
@June Lee I agree. So elegant. Google 1930's style " side chair" or " arm chair". I also believe this is a French style chair.
Very well curated and eloquently put together.
What a great a tip about restraint. Could not agree more.
Can you show us more of your Interior designs space, loved this.
Classically elegant and timeless. Just gorgeous!
I could live with this beautiful creation.

The architectural balance (fireplace, high ceilings, arched windows) comes from Georgian period.
