$8,000 seems like a reasonable price... okay reasonable being a relative term here as I’m sure others would spend that money in a different way. But as a fellow rail enthusiast I can understand his interest.
You did a good job. I hope you could provide a glass shelter to protect it from the elements. You preserved a history, good aesthetics and design, not to mention proportion. I just wish the City of Toronto kept some few on the street. These can be Tourism Attractions to themselves. Yes, the new trams are functional, but they lack character, charm and nostalgia. I hope Bombardier will design some old style but with a modern functionallity, just like the Santa Teresa Trams of Rio de Janiero, modern machines wth old fashioned design, locals and tourists loves them, a win win situation.
If I owned land for such a purpose, I’d convert one of these to a tiny house. These seem like the perfect way to help people with housing, the others should never have been destroyed.
Luckily this streetcar doesn't have to experience the distress of the covid-19 pandemic. I cannot imagine this streetcar with capacity limits. But yeah, it would be cool to have some more track to be able to drive it.
Cheaper and better then a storage unit. 50 is a great size tiny house I say clear it out of most of what is in it and redo it like a tiny home bus. But larger.
What a lucky guy, I'm glad he gets to have a piece of history. I'm gonna miss these streetcars
@Andre The explosion boy ok ik its 7 months old but they were broken

I would make a circle of track and just drive around it and make stops. Then play street car with my friends. But that's just me.
No
5 miles of track around the outer border of his farm! It would cost over $100K to do.
Congrats to my man Alex. Ironically, this streetcar was my final CLRV ever rode.
I’m also enthusiastic with transit! I take it really often!
maybe we'de ride that streetcar for sometime in our lives..what a lucky guy

This guy looks like he's in his mid 30's.
You didn't read the description. It is quite apparent you didn't. LOL!!!!!!
@@Digikidthevoiceofreason the original commenter said he LOOKS like he's in his mid 30's. They didn't say they ARE in his mid 30's. READ.
People can vary in looks. 20s can look 30sish. 30s can look 20sish. Genetics.
Turn it into a cafe.
@@drezamuller5400 why not tho
@@TransitNerd That would be a sin the interior is so cool making it a cafe would ruin it.
Nice job destroying history lol

Imagine MrBeast comes over and makes a last to leave change. Maybe it would sound like "last person to leave the streetcar wins money 💰💲".
I wish, he would never come to Canada LOL
@@NotJustPlanes somehow... he did

It’s history, I doubt he’d gut and ruin it.
thats so cool if you have the money to do it
Would make nice little summer units for the homeless in toronto
What do you mean would? TTC has always been a homeless shelter, no matter the season.
I buy it and live in it
I want to take one to my home in Mississauga
Just 8 thousand yeah that money pocket i guess
Nice something good in the News for a change...😉...
HEY! Maybe you can MAKE MORE Tracks so YOU CAN Run it like a loop.
The streetcar doesnt work.
He should get an ALRV.
Only 2 exist now, 4204 is at HCRR and 4207 is preserved by the TTC
It would make a cool cafe or small diner.
He should make track around his land so he can actually ride it 😂
Remember streetcars take piwer from powerlines
@@profileprofile build powerlines
Why? Lol. Well I guess it’s nostalgic.
Wow! That’s so cheap! Lucky guy.
W mans
8000dollars for out of service street car is pretty cheap to me
Lol, TTC made more money selling it then they did trying to collect fares with it since 2011.
