    Thats why streetcars and light rail sucks. And the worst part, there's barely any bus service in downtown Toronto so you strand riders!

      Yes lets blame the streetcars. Would totally use my GPS entirely again and ignore those trams.

      @durece100 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Don't say that. Americans and Canadians need Streetcars and light rail for transportation rather than driving vehicles. Cars are taken off streets.

      Don't blame streetcars. Streecars are better for public transportation. Besides, you never ride a streetcar or a light rail before.

    Being a Professional Truck Driver for 40 years, it still amazes me, that people will still follow the direction of GPS to the turn. It is not that hard to see a Big Open Lake in front of you, or Train Tracks to your left or right. When it happened the 1st time about 20 years ago, somewhere around the world, it was funny, after that, it gets old and annoying, real fast. And I shake my head when I hear about them. GPS technology is so much better than just a few years ago, but they are not perfect. I can turn off Ravenshoe in Keswick, onto Woodbine south for the 404 south, and as soon as I am on the 404, my GPS says I am in the middle of a field, until I get to Davis Driver in Newmarket, and magically I'm back into the real GPS world. Use the gifts God gave you, Sight is one of them.

      Isnt it also obvious that there were also 5 bold and clear "Do not enter" signs in the TTC track tunnel :P If your GPS takes you into signs with do not enter, prob should use your brain. :P

    The signage is good enough. That is not the problem. Maybe put automatic barriers before the tunnel entrance? It is ridiculous that this has to be done because of an incident that happens once a year.

    • @Armor23OnPatrol
      @Armor23OnPatrol 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      may not be a good idea if the brakes on the streetcars failed

    • @Armor23OnPatrol

      Welp barriers exists yet idiots still drive down apparently.

    The TTC crews were much too gentle with that SUV. They should have bounced it off against tunnel walls a few times after hoisting it. That way the "confused by GPS 21-year driver" would learn much better lesson.

      Well, public employees should try to keep their professionalism intact, even if no one would actually disagree with your suggestion.
      Also, it looked to me the car was in driveable condition, but they still decided to park it in the tracks, instead of on the platform. It's like those folks who block two lanes of a busy freeway after a fender bender while they wait for the police.

    FYI, there are FIVE 'clearly marked signs' indicating do not enter. If you STILL can't realize that you're not supposed to enter with those five signs there, than you seriously shouldn't be allowed to drive.
