    I would never allow my mother to ever live in a horrible situation like this poor lady.

    If you don’t see the pain, hurt, despair, and her feelings of giving up on life in her face (not in her words- trust me silence speaks louder) then clearly nobody can diagnose medically induced depressive disorder. First came her hardships brought on by illnesses that just spiraled into many abysses this is very common that many of us experience and no medical practitioners tend to truly understand as they keep scheduling more appointments, tests, medications, etc that overload and overwhelm one person with costs to the point they end up on the streets. I pray for her, I pray she holds on, I pray she decides to ask for the help among her many disappointments ❤

    She's mentally ill... They need to reopen the state hospital and mental institutions.. get this woman inside and help she needs to get housing..

      She’s FAR, VERY FAR from being mentally ill.
      You don’t understand that she views things differently than you or I.
      She’s not “wrong” in any way either.
      She’s just different but not at all mentally ill.

    can a city worker or volunteers come out and at least clean up the disaster all around her and maybe get her some fresh clothing and blankets and stuff

    There is a form of mental health that goes with this and it hasn't been researched and documented yet. I hope someday it will be. When people live this long in situations like this they have a hard time understanding that they are worth anything else. It's similar to a Stockholm syndrome. I know because I have been homeless for the last 12 years since my husband passed away.

      The only solution that many homeless will accept is to be able to continue their drug use. It’s powerful and sad.

    • @americatruecrime
      @americatruecrime 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @greybeard3368 that is true. Yet many are not on drugs, when they need to be. And some are children. There are different solutions that different subpolulations can accept and benefit from.

    She refused all help. Can't help help like that, she's a adult. Sounds like many services has tried, they know her, crazy. Sad. But the city could clean up the area, trash, and she's using the bathroom on the ground. Not good.

    Where are her family?????
    They can't step up to help?
    When she no longer survive, they'll just step up and say..... I miss her so much, she is the best person I known, best mom, best aunt,best friend, best person and so on???? Wtf?

    • @jeanemcandrew5860
      @jeanemcandrew5860 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      I hear what you are saying, but there are families out there that do their best to try to help family members in situations like this. Many times dealing with the person is next to impossible. Government and private agencies are a big part of the problem also. So much money spent on programs and very little help provided. Taxpayers $$ spent for nothing. It's extremely difficult to know and understand if you aren't personally involved and deal with it. For over 40 years, I have been trying to help someone....Roadblocks from agencies, laws and attorneys make it unattainable.

    • @dantescave1
      @dantescave1 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Did you hear she refuses services? Maybe she refuses help from family as well and they can’t force her to live differently. However, when people are homeless, and unable to physically, mentally, emotionally sustain themselves-there should be some kind of minimum intervention to areas of shelter, food, sanitation they are required to lodge.

      Even now it's worse. The lack of affordable housing. And like many group home apartments they charged them almost what they get. And some give 2 meal a day but the meals are questionable and some have rules that is more for Institutions not independent living.

This trailer wont last long and I cant afford an apartment. We have an affordable housing crisis. Quit blaming the homeless

    If I can see her pupils, you all can see her pupils. She’s on drugs. That’s the end of listening to what she wants and what she thinks. The idea that people in this situation are going to one day decide to change it is insane. They have to be stopped most of the time, and that requires use of the law, and detention. Alternate programs should be available but we have none?! This state is a joke. I followed my family here and I can’t believe how backwards this place is. There are infrastructures in other places in this country that handle this. Why are we so hamfisted??

    She probably generated all of the litter surrounding her by somehow carrying in full containers and packages and then magically forgetting or not knowing how to stuff one bag into another and that bag into a container and securing her own refuse and waste.
