I noticed when I threaded the window washer hose through near the bolt like you mentioned in the video, that when the hood is closed it pinches the hose and won't let full pressure come through for the window washer fluid. Just FYI.
Passenger side hood mount didn't match up on top, so I had to take the lower hood bolt loose to adjust it to fit. Also after the hole was drilled I noticed it was not big enough, so I had to widen it a little more to make it work. Works fine now, but installation instructions weren't completely accurate.
got these struts as a gift for Christmas, put on this week. and driver side don't sit flush with hood. call cj pony parts. and was told cause not OEM . will have some problems. also the customer service guy wasn't very friendly. didn't really seem wanted to talk or really help!
I just tried to install this on my 2016 GT and the bracket on the passenger if of the hole for the window washer hose does not line up.I hate to do returns and this for the money it should fit correctly.
+Dark Man Loosen the hood bolts and adjust so it lines up, if its off it should only be slightly and the adjustment will not throw off the hood alignment.
I just got there and I have the same issue with my 2016 my friend has the 2015 and the old model brackets that simply just cover the hood bolt... What's the point of an unnecessary longer bracket that doesn't align correctly...😡😡
+mike smith I have install many sets of these over the years and never had a locked strut. If they won't budge call customer service and we will get them replaced for you.
+Bill Tumas so what I did was take a piece of cardboard and laid it on the ground. placed the free end of the truth on the cardboard, then with a children's book against my chest compressed it about a dozen times. that fixed the problem. hope this helps someone else
I wish that I had read these comments before I purchased the quick lift PLUS. The washer hose opening does not line up with the stock opening on the passenger side of my 2015 GT. Buyer beware, this product is poorly designed!

I have bought this hood strut and installed it ,but washer hose didn't Aligned in 2016 mustang.

Is the battery cover necessary? I feel like the easy thing to do would be to remove it.

I never purchased another kit from anyone i just use the prop rod for now maybe I'll try later.Time for performance mods instead

+Dark Man Obviously check it before closing the hood but I only made a small adjustment to the passenger side.

As I mentioned before simply loosen the hinge bolts and line it up, it will not throw off your alignment making a small correction.
