Outstanding model ! And nice job reviewing it. An unrelated question. I will be purchasing the New CCM CAT 6015B excavator tomorrow. I just wanted to know if this is strictly a "Mining" machine, or can it also "be/is" used in the "heavy" construction industry. If it is for mining "only", I might have to pass and buy something else; as I do NOT collect much, if any, mining models; and therefore would have nothing to pair it with. If you have the time to answer let me know. If not, I will keep looking around the net. The only pictures and info I have come across so far, all point to mining only ! Back to the D10T2. This is probably the best DC Masters model I have seen to date, and agree with you it will sell out quick. The detail is outstanding, and in some ways CCMesque at 1st glance. But I emphasize 1st glance, as nothing beats CCM's high quality models ! Anyhow, the designers at DCM seem to be getting better and better. I thought they would have a tough time topping the D9T model they released a few months back; but they clearly have. That model, along with the 2 "newer" underground loader and dumper were there best models until this beautiful piece {at-least in my humble opinion}. Continued thanks for the reviews ! Paul K.

Thanks for the reply. The key to that quote is the that this machine can be used in mass excavation--which is basically just the removal of a large amount of earth, soil, rock, etc., over a specific period of time, or by a deadline. So that would surely include many "heavy" construction jobs ! I already have ideas kicking around for a dio displaying it along with the DCM CAT 390, CCM CAT 349 LME, and a WSI Liebherr R970 SME, my "personal" favorite ( and a great model in it's own right !). I just need to get a couple of off road dump trucks eventually, at-least ones bigger than the ADT models I own. Although the 6015B probably could work with the CAT 740B-ej. Oh-well, so many models, too little time and💰! Thanks again for the feed-back !
Thanks ! The Tonkin 775G is frequently on sale at one particular retailer I use. When it is, it sells for roughly 47 bucks. The next time they run a sale (probably for the 4th of July next week) I would love to have some extra $$ to grab 2 of them ! The only draw back to the Tonkin version of this model is the fact that the cylinder rods are yellow instead of stainless steel. But if I can purchase 2 of them for roughly a 3rd of the cost of the same D.C. Masters model; its too good to pass up ! Thanks Again: Paul K. P.S. I actually found the Tonkin 775G cheaper than $47.00 ! Just bought 2 for 39.99 a piece. Only problem was that they are not in CAT yellow, but "CAT" white. But at those prices, I could not turn them down ! I believe they will still look pretty good along with the 6015B. Also got them through one of your partners. The 6015B will be purchased through another of your associates as well.
Chad Campbell The D10 in real life is too heavy for a traditional 4 axle or even 5 axle lowboy trailer. typically these are transported with specialty Jeep lowboy trailers with the blade removed

personally i do not like the operators in the models. To me it looks weird seeing operators inside while they are sitting. How many times are machines parked with an operator in them.
